A top priority for us this year is creating weekly. Yesterday, I used locally grown + dried blooms to make a hanging install at Lightbox! The Hydrangeas were grown right in my parents’ backyard and harvested for drying in October. Found Farm here in SGF gave me her marigolds and celosia which brought the pops of color my heart was dreaming of.

This day was filled to the brim with love. While we were setting up, it was evident that each person was so excited for Morgan & Austin to be one.

These flowers had fun textural elements from local growers and dahlias cut fresh from Found Farm. Can we do this all again?😍

As a florist who did her own wedding flowers, hear me out.

Flowers are a huge task, a full time job even. One that is too much to take on if you’re trying to have an easy going week leading up to your wedding.

I dearly loved creating my blooms and it was some of the most precious moments but I didn’t have the time I needed to put into them.

Because getting married and having the sweetest time with all your people is all that needs to be on your mind.

DIYs are so necessary to us on budgets, but let’s leave the DIYs for the months leading up to your wedding. The week, day and moments before THE moment are for soaking up all the sweetness. 🤍
