Her ability to connect with people with humility, compassion, and authenticity is revered by those around her. Krista is the Talent Manager for ABOUT S*X and is a fundamental partner in caring for the partners involved in making this event a success. Though Krista is working behind the scenes on this event, her talent does not go unrecognized. Packing all the power of 1000 burlesquers into a small bundle, Eva Angel is the Orange Juice Concentrate of Burlesque! She first earned her burlesque wings in 2009, while performing with and choreographing for Fake Mustache Drag Troupe.Since then, she has gone on to perform across the country and in many high-profile shows such as the Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver International Burlesque Festivals, Wild Mountain Music Fest, and Calgary's High Performance Rodeo. Eva currently resides as the Artistic Director of Blissful Dance, and is the mastermind behind the high-quality Burlesque accessories biz, Avant Garters!

CuteButDeadlyCo, created by Jax, is a local artist, they are a non binary and q***r artist working out of Calgary. Primarily making jewelry from resin that is bright, colourful and glittery. Jax enjoys making artwork representing s*x, s*xuality, q***rness and body positive works. Some of the highlights of their work include various s*x toy and B**M based jewelry pieces, and silhouettes of bodies.

They aim to make art that is accessible for all, and inclusive to all genders, races and classes. They try to eliminate financial barriers to their art as they believe art should be for everyone

I am a Canadian artist specializing in oil painting and drawing. I am in love with challenging myself to create highly complex works, cohesive pieces with as many different colors as possible and daring concepts. I tend to be experimental, exploring many different genres including fantasy, horror, surrealism, eroticism and more. My art follows the many whims of my thoughts and emotions; however, women are consistently my favorite subjects, and nature is my favorite setting, though my interest in monsters and supernatural beings is increasing.

Emily Elizabeth Creasey is a painter born in Jacksonville, Florida. Seven years ago she moved to Calgary, Alberta to study art. She attended Alberta University of the Arts and graduated with her Bachelors of Fine Arts in painting in 2020. Most if not all of her work consists of self portraits. She uses representations of the self to reflect on life experiences. Utilizing the senses and synesthesia, she creates using color-emotion relationships. Some of her themes explore s*xuality, bo***ge and trauma through the lens of her identity of self. Emily Elizabeth hopes to become a teacher and art therapist in her career, and to teach others how to use art as a coping mechanism for difficult emotions and trauma.

Hello, I am (aka Sara [she/her]), a Mohkinstsis photographer and visual artist. Having started a love affair with film at an early age I have enjoyed taking photographs ever since receiving a plastic point and shoot from McDonalds in a kids’ meal.
The past 4 years or so my focus has honed in on portraiture, music photography, and working with fellow creatives. In 2020 I became a part of an exciting photography studio and collective called Idle Eyes Collective. I have had the opportunity and privilege of capturing artists in studio and onstage as well as covering events like Calgary Folk Fest, Calgary Stampede Coca-cola Stage performances, Frogfest, and Big Winter Classic, among others.
I still shoot a lot of analogue and have various vintage cameras, balanced out with digital work. Prisms, multiple exposures, experimental film and effects are all part of my wheelhouse, however, the most important aspect to me is the conveyance of emotion.
Images evoke things in us, and capturing a moment, a memory, a smile or a tear are all of great value in how we connect with art and with each other.

Becca Blush loves to stand out of the crowd and turn heads. Becca has always been a creative person, but it wasn’t until she explored the world of consensual non-monogamy where the creative process got… kinky. She is a self taught visual artist creating unique pieces of erotic art in Calgary, Alberta. Making all sorts of naughty goods, she aims to be an inclusive artist portraying all types of bodies, sizes, shapes, colours, s*xual identities/orientations and gender identities. Using fun and vibrant colours, Becca creates her paintings and drawings inspired by real life people, experiences, events, and desires. She has a hand for acrylic paintings, wooden signs and ornaments, digital art, and bo***ge bears. The art of Becca Blush loves the body, embraces intimacy and connection, and celebrates the human experience.

Zambo is a Mexican-Canadian multidisciplinary artist diving into free-flow movement, ponchos and earring making. Starting at the early age of 3, she was heavily influenced by the rhythms of Cumbia, Salsa, Merengue and Mexican Folk Dance. Upon arriving in Canada in her teenage years, she was introduced to Hip-Hop and Funk Styles in Montreal and Calgary under the tutelage of multiple mentors. Teaching and performing are close to her heart, she collaborates with Cirque De La Nuit, Fermented Beet Orchestra, Troo Knot and other local artists in YYC. When she is not casting spells on stage, she assists a plethora of diverse demographics through therapeutic touch as a Registered Massage Therapist and Esthetician during the day. 
Zambo will be enchanting us with her mesmerizing movements which are sure to guide you into a trance.

ABOUT S*X will be raising money for a local non-profit in Calgary called Shift through
Shift is a Calgary-based program that provides support to adults currently or previously engaged in s*x work. Shift uses a rights-based approach to s*x work, recognizing that s*x work is a choice for many and respecting the rights of adults to make this choice. Shift also recognizes that for some, factors such as poverty or exploitation can put people into situations where they don’t have control. The program meets people where they are at whether they want to continue s*x work, safely transition, or anything in-between.

James Dean has been part of Fake Mustache since it inception in 2004, now the Manager and MC, James can be found herding the team of fabulous glitter soaked performers at any show or event. An EDI educator and bunny dad by day James can be found on stage every month at Fake Mustache's monthly shows.

Madelaine is an Indigenous, s*x positive, q***r Social Worker. She is the owner of Silver Wolf Clinical Services and has a Master of Clinical Social Work. She is passionate about bringing community together to form meaningful connections and to bridge gaps and create supports. She believes in advocating for the destigmatization of s*xuality and has created ABOUT S*X to foster a space for community to gather and learn/talk about s*x utilizing creative methods. She has also been working in events in the q***r, burlesque, and other communities for almost a decade as a photographer, production assistant, and volunteer coordinator. She is an artist who uses many modalities and utilizes expressive arts in practice, and is an educator for using the arts to create more trauma-informed and anti-oppressive services. She is excited to bring together her passions and profession in this new event, ABOUT S*X which is going to be a fun, interactive, and unique experience!
