Congratulations to Shaya who came second in her song and dance today. Shaya came to me with a variety of Photos from beetlejuice and now wears her own bespoke made copy of the dress completed with meters and meters and meters of lace overlay and the iconic kilt pin ruffle collar.
All that was needed was to get this girl on the stage !!

Spent a quiet morning with this little lady this morning- in all the hustle and bustle we chatted about the current dance festival. Jodie told me how amazing it feels to wear her tap costume knowing that she made and designed this herself.
Jodie is 10 and dances to a track from Princess and the frog 🐸 and this is her fantastic leotard work made in her sewing lessons .

Jodie started her sewing journey in the summer, she was desperate to learn enough to make her own clothes and costumes. Today she returned from the Christmas holidays with her new kit and is ready to start work on her own design for her new tap costume !!
