That's a wrap for the 9th annual . It was a great weekend and always fun catching up with BBQ family. As for the results, we were hoping for a stronger finish, but we were happy with our cook overall. We finished 23/58 teams. Chicken 35th with a 170. Ribs 32nd with a 168. Pork 29th with a 169. Brisket 16th with a 170. Congrats to for their GC and for the RGC. A huge shout out to our sponsors for supplying us with amazing rubs and for fueling our smokers.

2024 Comp BBQ Season is upon us. Getting mentally prepared to compete against some of the best cooks from across the country at the 9th annual . Safe travels to all the teams and we will see you for the 6:19 shot on Saturday morning. Oh, in case you were wondering, seasonings are responsible for the amazing color!!!

It's great to be part of such an awesome company. Not only do they provide an amazing product, they also do so much GOOD for others and the environment!!!

We have much to be thankful for this year and much to look forward to in 2024. Our Doin’ Good program has fed over 42,000 free BBQ meals to Americans facing food insecurity in the United States. The Good Charcoal acacia hardwood lump charcoal has filled backyard grills and competition smokers across the country, fueling good cheer and winning championship-grade results. Furthermore, we continue to transform acres of thorny overgrowth bush from tangled pathways into open free-ranging grasslands essential to sustaining wildlife in Namibia and South Africa .

Through our Doin' Good program, we've made a great number of new friendships and strengthened old ones along the way, from Dallas, St. Louis, Detroit, the Bronx, Nashville, Kansas City, Bentonville, New Orleans, Atlanta, and Cincinnati. For three years running, we have been supporting the Martha O’Bryan Center at its fall festival/trunk or treat event in Nashville.

As we celebrate new friends and old, we continue to honor our founding mission with great vigor: making the best chemical-free hardwood charcoal on the market, providing meals to Americans in need, and contributing to the restoration of our planet.

In the freshly fallen snow and with late-afternoon shadows dancing from our feet, when our hearts overflow with joy and good cheer, seasonal giving comes easily. However, we recognize that the need persists beyond the holidays. When the festive spirit wanes, and winter’s unforgiving chill sets in, we will persist in our efforts to feed Americans facing food insecurity. As we look ahead, we are excited to announce upcoming locations in Baltimore, Boston, and the West Coast.

Team WWBBQ is back from the festival. Another awesome event put on by .yopp and team. We were very happy with all the turn-ins, but the judges told us differently. It was great catching up with BBQ Family.
