I wanted something different, so I went with meat and potatoes 🤣. Carne Asada Fries was a hit in the house. Fries made in the air fryer 😉. Marinated skirt steak (lime juice, olive oil, smoked paprika, cumin, garlic, onion, salt, pepper, cilantro, and a little liquid smoke. Topped with Monterey Jack, Guacamole, and Pico de Gallo.

As we approach 2024 let me just say that I am humbled and blessed by what God has done and continues to do in my life, the lives of my family and friends. Since October I have made a commitment to grow my relationships with God. I told God that my life belongs to Him and I will do as he has instructed. Jesus tells us that following him won’t be an easy road but it will be worth it. My prayers is always that I decrease so that he may increase within me. That it’s not my words but his words that flow through me. All I will say is, when you sincerely ask him to use you, be prepared to be used. Since October I have seen a few go through some tough times. I’ve seen tears flow and I have seen pain set in. It’s in those moments I ask the Father to use me. He told me to speak his word and don’t stop even if you feel like it is not getting through. I simply replied I trust you and will do as you say. And even as I do, I asked if it was enough? Am I doing His will? Am I doing it right? Well ask and ye shall receive. He has confirmed through his people that I am. That alone has caused my heart to swell with pure joy. So as I step into this next year, I will say, I don’t have the answers, I don’t know how God is going to work things out but I trust his word that he’s working it out for my good. And if YOU are in the midst of a storm, whatever it is, you have a prayer warrior in me.
