The sweetest moments on your wedding day are usually the ones with just you two!
•
They are sometimes hard to come by on day that flies by, but this is your official reminder to make time for just the two of you on your wedding day.
•
So often I hear couples say they felt like they barely interacted with their new spouse on their wedding day because they are preoccupied with everything going on in the day.
•
Here are a few ways you can make time for each other on your wedding day:
1. Have a first look- make it just you two and your photographer/videographer. Take time to share letters to each other or even your vows.
2. During Cocktail Hour- after you’ve gotten your formal photos out of the way, request a plate of the hors d'oeuvres being served and a glass of bubbly and sneak away somewhere private.
3. Sit at a sweetheart table- have your first meal as a married couple together and just take in the moment of having all of your loved ones in one room with you both.
4. Sneak away for sunset photos- ask your planner and photographer to schedule time to slip away during that perfect golden hour. You get stunning photos and a moment to be alone.
5. Have a last dance- ask your DJ to stick around for one last dance after your guests have left and share a moment in the quiet space together at the end of the night.

When I think about this day and this couple I instantly smile! I am beaming just simply scrolling through the gorgeous sneak peaks sent over!

You know it’s a good night when I tear up saying goodbye to my couple at the end of the night and Adrianne and Chris were one of those couples!
•
It was truly a pleasure being part of the all-star team that brought this day together for one of the sweetest couples.

I think I get just as excited as my couples when I receive a gallery of STUNNING photos from photographers!!
•
I can’t tell you how many times I have scrolled through Madison and Jerry’s gallery since I received it from .photos earlier this week! And I am in love!!
•
Wedding days are such a blur and there are often times that I am running around finalizing details and I miss moments in the day. But when I get to scroll through the complete gallery I get so excited to see every detail on display.
•
If you need me I’ll be here all night reminiscing about the Klue’s gorgeous day!

Happy today we are answering the question... why do brides traditionally carry a bouquet of flowers? 💐
•
Today a lush bouquet featuring some of the bride’s favorite flowers is usually a beautiful accessory for a wedding day, however the tradition of bouquets did not begin as just an accessory.
•
In Ancient Greece, Rome, and Egypt brides would often carry or wear garlands of flowers to symbolize new beginnings, and fertility.
•
Brides were often also found carrying a bushel of strong smelling herbs and spices to ward off evil spirits and bring about good luck.
•
Additionally, both strong smelling spices and fragrant florals also helped to mask body oder in times when baths were not readily available to people.
•
It wasn’t till the Victorian Era that flowers became a popular romantic symbol and were used as part of a wedding like they are today.
•
Today a bouquet of blooms is a great way for a bride to express her personal style and personality and add a lovely and romantic touch to a wedding day look!
