Super proud to receive first prize in the Coffs Harbour Show Professional Florists section this weekend.
The theme was ‘Heritage Piece’ and as inspiration I wanted to represent both my own and Coffs Harbour’s heritage - an important part of both being the banana industry. My grandfather being a banana grower (his farm is still going and is now run by my uncle), you can see an old stencil of his featured in the design that he kindly let me borrow - so grateful for my incredible grandparents!
I’ve grown up surrounded by bananas most of my life… I now work in an old packing shed and fill it with flowers instead 🍌💚
