Should you hire a wedding planner if there is a venue coordinator?

Absolutely!

Venue coordinators are amazing and certainly have an important role during the wedding planning process and on the wedding day, but their job is to maintain the interests of the venue and not necessarily handle all the ins and outs of your wedding details, vendors, and planning.

The key difference between a wedding planner and a venue coordinator is their relationship with you, the couple getting married! A wedding planner’s focus is on making sure your wants and needs are met, whereas a venue coordinator is focused on ensuring the venue is well-maintained and well-represented.
