Greetings Family,

We’re 14 days away from you getting in your response on if you plan on attending the 2022 Prater, Miller and Worthy Family Reunion to be hosted in Chicago, Illinois. Since my last post I’ve had 13 people respond letting me know they plan on attending and 5 additional people to pay their dues.
My only request in my previous post was to share the reunion information and to let me know your intentions on attending or not.

I don’t have the luxury of waiting for those to send in their dues last minute as I need to book caterers and finalize entertainment and room counts for those attending. If I get 50 confirmed and paid attendees by 5/31, when all fees are due, the reunion will happen. If not, the reunion will be canceled. This reunion cannot happen without YOU!! We are the descendants of the Prater, Miller and Worthy lineage.

Again, please let me know if you plan on attending and pay your dues by 5/31. All of my contact info can be found in the previous post attachment or you can message me.

This will be the only family page, in addition to the Prater, Miller and Worthy Family FB page, I will post on as my post on the 2018 family page was removed. So please spread the word and share this information with any family member not present on social media or who may not have gotten a newsletter.

Greetings Family,
We pray everyone is well.
The 2022 family reunion committee is very excited and ready to welcome you all to the beautiful city of Chicago, Illinois for the Prater, Miller and Worthy families reunion. For the reunion to be a success, we need you there. We understand in these uncertain times, it's difficult to forecast what you will be doing tomorrow let alone in a few months. However, we need to know your intentions on attending.
To date, we have received less than 10 family members who have paid their dues and confirmed their attendance. We would like to thank those that have paid their dues and returned their registration forms.

Due to this low response we need to know by April 16th if you plan on attending the reunion. This will help us gauge how to proceed with the reunion planning. Please send your response via the email listed on the newsletter, respond in the comments or send me a message on FB.
We mailed the newsletter and registration forms to over 200 members listed on the family roster. If you did not receive a newsletter, your information was not listed on the roster or was incomplete. We've emailed newsletters to those that requested and provided an email. If you would like a newsletter and registration forms emailed to you, please provide your email in the comments or send your request to [email protected].
We are encouraging all of our family members to use this opportunity to reconnect and love on each other because tomorrow is not promised.

Greetings Beloved Prater, Miller, and Worthy Family,

Our Family Reunion is high on my “things-I’m-grateful-list.” The pandemic prevented us from getting together for our bi-annual reunion in 2020, but God-willing we will come together again in 2022. Therefore, it gives me great joy and delight to announce our 2022 Prater, Miller, Worthy Family Reunion. Where our reunion theme will be; "Remembering Our Past, Living Today, Embracing Our Future”.

This family reunion affords us another opportunity as a family to get together, to grow together, to love one another, to share, to reflect, to be thankful for the present, and to look forward together.

Mark your calendars, save your pennies, and join us in The Windy City of Chicago, IL on July 7-10, 2022. Our hotel accommodations are at the magnificent Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook in Oakbrook, IL.
You will love this unique, four-star resort that's steps away from premier shopping and various dining establishments.

The Chicago committee is working hard to finalize all the details of the weekend events. With the return to normal during the pandemic, Chicago is now in its fifth phase of full opening. This will allow us to secure permits and other resources we need to be able to bring each of you an unforgettable and enjoyable experience here in Chicago.

More details about our 2022 family reunion should be finalized within the next couple of weeks and will be communicated here by Sunday, June 27, 2021.
