❄️We will NOT be this Saturday due to cold temperatures which could damage the amaryllis, but we plan to be back on Saturday, December 14th with all your holiday gifts!

🌱So many exciting things happening down here in our little basement! Praying & crossing our fingers that these winter grown tulips will be ready for the Christmas Eve market! They will be a fringed, white variety, perfect for Christmas, Chanukah, or New Year’s Eve!

🌷This is only the beginning, with about 15 thousand tulips waiting to be forced down in my little basement this year for our community’s enjoyment!

🍂 Savor the last fresh, local dahlias of the season!! We see frost on the horizon so now is the time to come out for your dose of Mother Nature’s self care!

👩🏻‍🌾 We will be this Saturday from 10-2pm and on Sunday from 10-2pm (last week!)

🌱 We are trialing a few dahlias and chrysanthemums in our unheated high tunnel, but this is a pure experiment at this point, so this may be our last week of fresh flowers until January!

🌸 Sign up on our website or at our booth to receive email updates! We rarely send them out, but I will be sending one out soon with details on our dahlia workshop in early November and our 2025 winter tulip CSA!

There are so many awesome veggie farms at our markets where you can pick up unique punpkins for this, or visit in Easton for an awesome, locally and naturally grown selection!

A friendly, pollen-laden bee came to visit me while harvesting yesterday. When you buy local, chemical free flowers (or other produce), you’re not only supporting family farmers, you’re also supporting the planet and all of its inhabitants. Most grocery store flowers are coated with pesticides and shipped thousands of miles in refrigerated containers, producing a massive carbon footprint. Farm workers are often mistreated and exposed to dangerous conditions and poverty wages while growing “cheap” flowers for big corporations.
