Congratulations to Coach Nick Raimer of Grandville Youth Wrestling, who was named by the Michigan Wrestling Association as the Middle School/Club Coach of the Year!

We commend Coach Raimer for his commitment to the sport, and we recognize the following achievements:

2020: COVID
2021: 3 All-State, 2 State Champions
2022: 4 All-State, 4 State Champions
2023: 6 All-State, 6 State Champions
2024: 8 All-State, 6 State Champions

Congratulations to Team Michigan, 14U Dual Team, who placed 11th out of 38 at the 2024 USA Wrestling, 14U Freestyle National Duals, in Oaks, PA.

Led by Coaches Brian Gibbs and Owen Scott, the 14U squad racked up wins against Missouri, Florida, Arkansas, Texas, and Maryland. The team concluded with an exciting 44-36 victory over Maryland to finish 3rd overall in the Copper/Bronze Pool, delivering an extremely strong showing.

The annual Freestyle Duals is the nations largest and most competitive, state-based youth duals. Great job MI Youth Wrestlers and Coaches!
