Flower Garland Workshop with Cara Stefchak of South Stems

We’re thinking your house could use a little strand of colorful happiness, just 'cause. Come spend an evening with South Stems owner Cara Stefchak for a hands-on workshop on creating floral garland.

You’ll build your happy strand using a colorful selection of Carnations and bright yellow Craspedia balls. Hang in any part of your house to bring a little cheer to the end of your week.

Participants will be provided with fresh flowers, supplies, and instruction to make 4ft+ of garland (length will depend on how close you’d like your flowers to appear on the strand). Cara will also teach you about how you can make and store these days in advance if you ever want to create for a future party or event.

This workshop does involve the use of a large needle and floral snips, so any little attendants will need an adult to lead the activity. BYO Beverages & Snacks and we’ll supply the paper plates, cups, and napkins! Tickets are required in advance due to the perishable nature of the supplies needed and are limited to just 15 spots.

Ready for another photo day? Teaming up with Helen Merz Photography once again to bring you a floral-centric mini session in Haddon Lake Park, close by the cannons, on June 10. Rain date June 11. Book through Helen.

Found the perfect tree with the curviest of curves that we'll be installing flowers on. Helen's sessions are 20 minutes (good length for little ones to stay focused) and you'll receive a 5x5 linen keepsake album, an online gallery of edited photographs and 5 digital downloads (more downloads and print packages available to add on). Mini sessions are for anyone. Take advantage of the flower scene for some engagement announcement pics, family photos, dog glamour shots, maternity, you being hot AF by yourself. We'll be there!
