Tonight!

One of the UK's favourite folk duos live in concert tonight. Online ticket sales end soon but you can pay on the door from 6.30PM

Bar open from 6.30PM. Please feel free to bring your own snacks

Our small group of volunteers have been running the Live and Local gigs for many years to bring quality live music to North Thoresby, and currently have expanded to Fulstow.

Many thanks to Emma Knight who works so hard to organize these gigs for villagers and to Live and Local and the Arts Council. Without their subsidies, small rural venues would not be able to break even on ticket sales for these quality live concerts. We feel very passionate about this scheme and want to keep it in this area.

Hope to see you this evening. I'll be doing the raffle on the door as usual. All funds are ploughed back into future concerts.

LIVE AND LOCAL RURAL TOURING GIG
Join us at Fulstow Village Hall, way out in the sticks, a village once referred to as "Britain's most lawless village" in the Times newspaper in 1901, as we party the night away with the music and stories of Dan Sealey from Ocean Colour Scene. We have the cheapest bar in Lincolnshire open from 6.30pm and our famous* raffle. Dan starts his set at 7:30pm. It's gonna be a good one - see you there :)

*The Bonfire Radicals once called our raffle the best they'd ever seen after they played at a village whose raffle prizes included a bottle of water :-D

Welcome! We are three local volunteers with between us 17 years' experience of running Live & Local Rural Touring Scheme events in our local village hall at North Thoresby. We are now continuing to organise gigs under our brand new and recently formed community group Viking Events.
