I know some of you have already heard that I will no longer be doing the murder mystery events. I have started writing a novel and this is where my creative energies are being directed. Yes, the novel is a murder mystery. The winery still plans to offer murder mystery dinners and I encourage all to support their efforts. Some may be so desperate to keep their secret there may even be a MURDER! If there is, it’ll be up to you to solve it.

The classic Great Gatsby themed murder mystery dinner and game you don't want to miss!

It’s 1922 and the Roaring 20s are just underway. With the end of the Great War, America believes anything is possible! From new technologies like the automobile, moving pictures, jazz being played on the radio, to cultural revolutions with Flappers challenging women’s behavior, dress, and place in society. But more than anything else affecting this era is PROHIBITION – the ban of the manufacture, sale, and distribution of alcohol. This gave rise to organized crime… gangsters like Al Capone, Lucky Luciano, or “Bugs” Moran, and speakeasies abound. The wealthy were not affected by this ban where alcohol flowed freely at their parties. This is where our story begins.
The reclusive Mr. Fox is one such rich man throwing weekly parties at Horseshoe Bend Cellars. Never attending his own parties, no one seems to know where he came from or how he acquired his wealth… rumors abound. Now the elusive Mr. Fox has invited you to attend his next weekly party. As a guest you are the actor playing the role of an invited guest where you’ll receive your character background and costume suggestion well before the party. You’ll quickly discover everyone is not as they seem – hidden secrets abound. To keep them hidden, there may even be a MURDER! It’ll be up to you to solve it.

Thinking of a theme for the next murder mystery. How about a Mardi Gras theme or a Renascence Fair theme? I once heard that a 007 theme was also very popular but so is the Yellowstone series theme. Suggestions are welcome.

Here are a few pictures from Yellerstone Murder Mystery Dinner. It was such a fun night. While the Judge made several people unhappy with his ruling of Buffalo Valley, there were a few that were quite happy with it. The interaction was fantastic and everyone had the best time. Hope to see y'all back for other games.
