PNC Art in Bloom at the NCMA began today, our favorite event of the year. For the first time since 2017 we will not be there, scheduling conflict has us out west this week.

If you are lucky enough to have one of the sold out tickets to this year's events. Please share your photos with us so we can see what the amazing designers do this year and if you can...give them a shout out. Designers donate their own blooms for the pedestals and have to go back to refresh every single day so it's quite a commitment! Share your posts at !!

Like Wine? Like Art? Like Flowers? We got ya!!! Join West Queen Studio on Friday March 10 from 5-9 pm at The Ackland Art Museum in Chapel Hill for an interactive floral art and wine tasting!

Attendees are encouraged to come watch, ask questions, and add floral elements to the installation with Morgan’s guidance. Admission to the floral installation is free.

The Ackland will also have a wine and art experience led by Team Vino. This is a ticketed event (tickets available below for $15.) Heighten your experience of art by engaging your senses in a wine and food taste exploration.  Team Vino will guide you through three wines selected to complement three pieces on view.  You will also enjoy thoughtfully paired nibbles from Root Cellar Cafe and Catering.

Museum and Floral Installation are free to the public; Wine Experience tickets for sale online and onsite.

Olive, Fern and Yew paired with Agapanthus, Canterbury Bells, Thistle and Delphinium elevated by a gold Harlow was the fan favorite this weekend.

Love this venue in our own backyard! The Cloth Mill at Eno River is a great space with urban elegance, tons of parking, and huge catering facilities. It was a delight to partner with them for their open house this weekend.

Flower to the People! In November Leafy Couture jumped the pond to the land of Magnolia and Manners. They spent two days guiding attendees through lush designs and giggling about pot tape and punch bowls. Model, entrepreneur and all around great gal Spencer Jennings showcased her new pieces amidst the students designs and we ended the workshop with great things learned a new friendships formed. Looking forward to having these two back in 2023 and sharing more of Spencer's great pieces photographed by Maggie Gaster.

Running into the new year with joy like newlyweds Katy and Trey! Katy was so diligent with her color palette and we LOVE It! captured so many great photos it was nearly impossible to choose a favorite but who can resist the stunning joy on this beautiful lady's face?!

Design anywhere! In Abu Dahabi and had some bullion wire in my bag. There was so much beauty I had to play a bit. I felt empowering to have no access to my studio supplies or flowers and to be able to design something beautiful using what was around me.

What a week!!! crossed back over the pond and miss them dearly. We had truly the perfect collection of students and an even bigger collection of fun! Cheers to next year and their return.
