So I picked up this shop vac from a garage sale featuring the most bro of brooooooooos, who tried selling me this at 50 bucks. When I insisted on testing it it (surprise lol) didnt work, and i takked him down to 20. This is a danged 6 horse beastie, and it would be worth it if it could be fixed.

Plopped the Jackson down, and this evening I'm aiming to fix it
..and clean it. because its GROSSSSSS.
(aĺso it smells like it dry hu**ed Marlboros)

Took a bit longer than expected to git e'r done, but the ENTIRETY of the left side of the leather & storage space is cleaned, cleansed and organized (omg so many dried out lizard carcasses 😨)! Next up, cleaning the leatherworking station, and converting the messy display space into a sewing station!

Still trying to decide on widening the wall on the left so i can be a little less cramped in the cockpit that i plan for under the stairs, but when i decide, the drywall and new outlets will go up!

Howdy everyone! So of course we have this craziness going on, and the work had to be put on pause for a bit. We're over here taking care of house things and finishing the setup of my garden since my hubby's job is going lean.

I'm staying home cuz of year long sinus issues (& a couple o' lung issues), but thankfully I've been a packrat and pretty much found that I'm a cosplay prepper. Once the house & garden are fixed up & updated, I'll be back on twitch and building live in the shop like the good ol' days! Aiming for next week!

Its been forever since I could, but my health is better, and been able to start making again :)
Also had eye surgery to correct my lazy eye, so I'm no longer walking into things cuz I was constantly seeing double!

test fitting of the completed bits of the batman suit when my client was in town! I need to make a few adjustments to the pants, but overall its coming along pretty well :)

More stapping & gluing to go, but its almost done! I'll be remaking the belt out of leather with functioning pouches & containers once everything else is together!

Time for post convention cleanup after the pre convention panic!

Cleared a path in, emptied the trash and cleared the little folding table before the pic, but this tends to be the state of the workspace (and house) when we leave for a con!

Megamind buckle 2.0! The first one that was made was never molded, not making the same mistake twice! cold cast with aluminum powder! buffed! polished! shiny!

Quickie dora milaje belt buckle, ready for a swim in silicone!

Will have a couple of these ready for the Atlanta scifi &fantasy expo tomorrow!

Finally finished the persona 5 mask :D

It's cold cast using aluminum powder, then buffed with steel wool, and polished using Mother's Mag & Aluminum polish!

These'll be available next week, raw or finished!

Hi everyone! It's been a wee bit, but I'm not dead! Just been working behind the scenes on things slowly, as the ol' hip n' shoulder have had so many ups & downs. Gained a good chunk of weight as well (boooooo) . so let's just say that some new costuming projects are on the table.

Catching up with backlog of work on my good days... expect some upates over the next few weeksxas I get used to internetting again :)

Fiest up, here's some work on a looooong overdue project, a gun from barbarella! the hands are for the stock of the gun, and I did multiple castings because they'll be getting chromed all fancy like!

I also molded a bunch of other bits, experimenting a bit... will post notes on those tomorrow!

Still can't do larger projects, so smaller bits it is for now til my shoulder allows it..

All done with Reaper's dangly emblem, along with some other bits in the shop after getting the mess straightened out! This was cold cast, then buffed with steel wool and polished with Mother's Mag and Aluminum polish for the shine :)

Southern-Fried Gameroom Expo is this weekend, and now that i FINALLY stopped biting my stupid nails, figured I'd try and decorate em XD

Come out and check out hundreds of classic arcade games and pinballs from collectors from across the country, classic gaming guests, films, and nostalgia at the renaissance waverly in Atlanta!
