I adore everything about this summer garden party!!

The design incorporated so many fun textures, from the baskets holding the aisle arrangements to the specialty linens and chargers. Details like this tie everything together and without any of the elements, it just wouldn’t be the same.

One of the biggest disaster scenarios that keeps me up at night is how to manage my business as a one woman show in the event of an emergency. I’ve always liked to think I have everything under control but this particular wedding it was actually put to the test when I went into labor two weeks early just a couple days before the wedding.

Thanks to careful planning, ordering & recipe planning, and a team of dependable freelancers, everything went off without a hitch! Plus I was home in time to quickly pop into the studio to make the bridal bouquet the morning of the wedding before the team loaded up for the venue.

I’ve been pretty quiet on here lately so here’s a little reintroduction! I’m Tracy and I started Rebel Rose in 2020 after walking away from my 10 year marketing career.

In the last 5 years I built Rebel Rose from the ground up, worked with nearly 100 couples on their wedding flowers and forged amazing friendships with other wedding vendors. But best of all is that I’ve had two babies during this time and I feel incredibly lucky that I have the flexibility to take the offseason to be full time “mom”.

In this pic from last summer, I’m 25 weeks pregnant with my second (who is now 3 months old already! 🥹) & I feel like it’s the perfect representation for the duality of being a business owner mom…. Making bad ass flower magic happen but always have a kid hanging off ya!

My hot tip is when you’re planning your wedding design, consider colors outside of the typical whites, greens and blush because the result can be so so magical! I know color can be intimidating or feel like a big commitment, but really it takes everything to the next level. Life’s short, choose the color!
