Throwing back to one of the first weddings I ever captured. It is crazy to look back on those days.
I don't think I could ever go a wedding without grabbing a glide ride down the middle real quick!
It was surely a gloomy day, but the love between these two absolutely carried us through!! The one big take away for me this was to NEVER forget a jacket. 😂😂
One of the most enjoyable parts of a wedding day is getting to work with the couple on creative shots!
One of the biggest keys to my growth has been surrounding myself with those who are better than me at what I do! I have second shot for many times and his shooting and editing style has been a huge inspiration in the way I approach videography in addition to editing in a more cinematic fashion(as you'll see in more so in future edits).
The sun can be your worst enemy during a wedding shoot, but sometimes it can be your best friend and compliment a shot if exposed correctly! 😎
I always try for this aisle shot every wedding because it is just such an amazing shot to include in your wedding videos!
My beloved experimental ring cut(2:49 in my previous post)... To this day I am not sure if it worked, but no one ever complained, lol, so hey that's a win right? It was a pain in my butt because of the way I went about executing the edit in premiere pro(my editing software). If I knew then, what I know now, I could have pulled this off in a fraction of the time utilizing different after effects tracking techniques... The question is: should I? What do you think? 😜
My 3rd wedding video! One of the most beautiful aspects of being a wedding videographer is the magic and raw love and emotion you get to experience throughout the entire day, which these two: Tiffany and Edgar, absolutely personified. ⠀⠀⠀⠀
Overall it was a great experience(check out my previous post for the vid and my constructive criticism on my work)... I couldn't have asked for a better couple: they were so friendly/ easy to work with and they gave me the creative freedom I needed to capture their magic in my own way. As crazy as it is just starting out capturing weddings, it really helps to have solid photographers to work side by side with as it makes a world of difference. Kendal and Anthony from made the whole process a whole heck of a lot smoother. It was their knowledge and know-how which helped me navigate the entire process... So, THANK YOU Kendal and Anthony for being the OGs when I first began! 😁 ⠀⠀⠀⠀
This was my second wedding in which I quickly discovered what a full wedding day entails. It was very intimidating in that moment, but with the structure and confidence that I have developed over time, it has become far easier and more fun!⠀⠀⠀⠀
I will be slowly posting all of the content I have created to date, so bare with me and the quality will increase as we go!

Well my friends and clients... you are correct... I did just re-brand to Island Fox Media, but that is my commercial video, photo, marketing company brand and I am separating it from my wedding brand-- Joseph Brant Films.
