My name is Kayla and I love to make things pretty, hence the business name. I'm a wife and mother to two beautiful children and two adorable, smelly dogs. I learned I had a passion for decorating when I threw my daughters first birthday party in 2015. I had a plan to one day open a small business, but my very own wedding in 2022 is what initially put the plan in motion. I designed my wedding from

my home computer and brought it to life. I received so many compliments which gave me the extra confidence to start this business. I want to be able to offer my eye for detail and make your day as stress free as possible.

Hey everyone! 👋 Just a quick note to clarify that I'm not a balloon artist. 🎈 My balloon designs are quite minimal and don't have the intricate details that a professional balloon artist can provide. Honestly, balloons are my least favorite part of decorating and they make me a little cranky! 😆😅 If you're looking for elaborate balloon designs, I'd be happy to recommend some amazing balloon artists. I only include balloons in my designs if it's something simple that I can handle. Thanks for understanding! 🤍

Wrapping up 2024 with a 21st birthday! 💃 We had cow print, sequins, disco balls, and florals! I didn’t get to snap a photo, but the cow print balloons with a disco ball weight and a cute white ribbon bow tied around the balloon tail were absolutely adorable!

2024 was so kind to my small business and it only makes me more excited for what’s to come in 2025. I booked 30 events this year, from small-scale to larger-scale such as baby showers, a prom, graduations, weddings, birthdays, and more! With each event, I’ve learned and grown - my goal is to continue to improve and provide even better experiences. I loved decorating for this Christmas party! 🌲 Bonnie mentioned she wanted a rustic theme 🪵, so I sent a few color schemes and she chose the one I was eyeing up! 🤩 I’m really into the bow trend right now and haven’t been able to dabble into it yet, and I was thrilled that she loved the idea too! 🎀 I was asked to decorate their guest tables and a backdrop - she put her touch on other areas of their party, and everything came together perfectly! 🪄 Thank you so much for hiring EYS for your annual Christmas party! 🤎

Hey everyone! 👋

After some thoughtful reflection, I’ve decided to take a more balanced approach to my travel events instead of taking a break. To ensure I can give each travel event my absolute best while taking care of myself, I’ll be limiting my travel events to 1 per month during the winter months (December-March). For any other month, I will allow up to 2 events per month. However, in May, I’ll be able to take on more due to graduations, with a limit of 6 events, but only 3 per weekend. I really love visiting my hometown and being able to provide this service to my community (maybe one day we will be there indefinitely, but until then). Thank you so much for your understanding and support. 😊

In any business, there will always be challenging clients and situations where not everyone is satisfied. No matter the lengths you go to, the only thing noticed is your one mistake. Some clients have expectations that you’re unaware of, some just want a refund because they had no intention of paying, and sometimes it’s really just our own fault. It’s important to acknowledge that we are human and not perfect; we get it wrong sometimes. However, no matter the situation, when these not-so-fun moments arise, it's crucial to accept and own the situation, even if we believe we've done everything correctly. As a business, maintaining professionalism is essential, even when it's difficult.

A common question I get is, "How do I price my events?"
A common question I get is, "How do I price my events?"

The cost of events can vary, and sometimes events with similar pricing may look quite different. This is often due to the client's specific requests. I always decorate according to the client's chosen color scheme and theme, and I work within the budget provided. Everyone’s budget is different, and while Pinterest photos are often beyond many budgets, I strive to give clients a taste of what they want within their budget. If a client requests a color scheme or theme that I don't have on hand, I can still provide it, but there will be additional fees to cover the cost of acquiring new materials. Guest count plays a factor as well—the more tables decorated, the more one will pay. Sometimes, I have weddings that cost $3,000 but don’t look much different than a $5,000 setup. This is because I use everything I already own, which saves money. When I don't need to make special orders, I can keep costs down. Using what I have on hand is the biggest saver! Utilizing the venue's table covers and chair covers is another money saver; if I don’t have to spend any time on those, it’s cheaper for you! There are many factors that can affect pricing, and it would be impossible to cover them all. However, I assure you that I always do my best to give you what you’re looking for within your budget. first design | first setup! 🪄 Planning your first design can be quite a challenge, but it's all part of the learning process. Sometimes, things don't go exactly as planned, and that's okay. The important thing is that you put your heart into it! 🫶🏼 I’ve definitely learned so much since February 2022. This design was for my very own big day. It was the very first design that I planned. The set up took forevvver and we still didn’t get to set out everything that we planned for. I remember, “good enough” was my response to everything towards the end of the set up. 😅
