Not just décor - I design, set up, and tear down so you don’t have to stress. 🪄 I'm a wife and mother to two beautiful children and two adorable, smelly dogs. I learned I had a passion for decorating when I threw my daughters first birthday party in 2015. I had a plan to

one day open a small business, but my very own wedding in 2022 is what initially put the plan in motion. I designed my wedding from my home computer and brought it to life. I received so many compliments which gave me the extra confidence to start this business. I want to be able to offer my eye for detail and make your day as stress free as possible.

At this time, I am prioritizing local events in Rolette County.
🪄 I will not be taking on new travel events through May, unless the event package is $2,500+.
🪄 Any travel events that are already contracted and paid will, of course, be fully honored.
🪄 Giveaway winners will also be accommodated for travel, as promised.
🪄 Rentals remain available during this time.
🪄 Full travel availability will reopen starting June 1st.

‼️ Big Update ‼️

Embellish Your Scene by KB is now based in Belcourt, ND. While this move is currently temporary, the plan is to make it permanent. 🤩

This shift comes at the right time for both personal and business reasons, allowing us to prioritize family while also being closer to the majority of our clients and bookings. For now, my husband remains in Trenton as we finalize housing and a permanent space for inventory. 🫶🏼

The exciting part? My hometown clients can now enjoy events without all those additional travel fees! 🎉

Proof that perfection isn’t required to make something special. ✨

This morning was all about making my girl’s first day back to school extra special. With a few balloons and supplies I already had, I threw together a quick little display. ✏️

Fail One: She wanted her hair curled, but as I was distracted, trying to be secretive about setting everything up, I somehow melted my balloon pump with the curling iron. Oops! 😬

Fail Two: The wind decided the balloons had other plans. 💨

She still walked out with straight hair, a fun balloon display, and a dressed up breakfast (yogurt topped with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and granola). 🍓🫐

She LOVED it! 🥰 You don’t need a ton of decor to make someone feel celebrated. A little creativity and a lot of love go a long way. 🤍

How EYS began...

It started with my daughter’s first birthday - tiered cake, candy buffet, Barbie decor, and photo’s of Ari’elle dangling on garland. It continued with my son’s birthdays, and before long, I was looking for any reason to decorate and celebrate - gender reveals, baby showers, holidays, you name it. My very own wedding is what really put it into gear. With the push from my grandma Cheryl (“you’re good at this, start a business!”) and the help from my amazing mom, who offered her help with our wedding decor as a way to get me started, EYS was born. I began buying decor piece by piece, both new and used, slowly building my inventory. That first year and a half, every single dollar I made went right back into the business. I still reinvest to this day, just not every penny now. It’s been a lot of sacrifice, but I can’t wait to see where EYS is in the next few years. ✨

December 2025 is the LAST month I’ll be taking bookings for grad season. Unfortunately, I won’t be taking any last minute bookings. ⏳

🪄 My full graduation styling starts at just $850. Payment plans? Of course! Main character energy? Always. 👌

🛻 Planning a party outside of Trenton, ND?
If I get 3 or more bookings in the same area, I’ll waive the travel fee for everyone. First come, first served across North Dakota. Once a date is booked in a specific location, I commit to that area and it becomes my base for the weekend.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE flowy table covers. I used to spend so many hours steaming and ironing out every single wrinkle. I didn’t have the means to pay for help back then, so I didn’t ask. 😬 If someone offered, I definitely said yes. I’ll never forget the ones who stepped in to help me, I’m forever grateful for you! 🫶🏼

Eventually I realized how much time it was taking and how little I was making on that part of the job. That’s when I made the switch to spandex linens. They’re fitted, wrinkle free, and much quicker to work with. This helps keep things efficient and budget friendly.

I still offer floor length linens for those who love that elegant, draped look. These do require more time and care, so they come at a higher price point. You’re also welcome to rent the classic linens and handle the steaming or ironing yourself. This can be a cost-effective option if you have the time and tools.

I can also do a mix - spandex on guest tables with draped linens for accent areas like the head table or dessert table. We just gotta find the balance between your style, your budget, and the labor it takes to pull it off. ☺️✨
