Not just décor - I design, set up, and tear down so you don’t have to stress. 🪄 I'm a wife and mother to two beautiful children and two adorable, smelly dogs. I learned I had a passion for decorating when I threw my daughters first birthday party in 2015. I had a plan

to one day open a small business, but my very own wedding in 2022 is what initially put the plan in motion. I designed my wedding from my home computer and brought it to life. I received so many compliments which gave me the extra confidence to start this business. I want to be able to offer my eye for detail and make your day as stress free as possible.

I’ve never really shared this part of my plan before, maybe because a part of me has always felt like if I said it out loud, it wouldn’t happen.

The truth is, since day one of Embellish Your Scene, I’ve planned on opening a small venue, nothing big, just something that’s enough and that I can manage while continuing to do what I love. 🪄

I’ve always imagined planting this near my hometown, but I also trust the right location will reveal itself when the time is right. 🙏

I believe what’s meant for me will happen in God’s perfect timing, and what’s not, won’t. So I’m not rushing, just planting the seed and continuing to trust his plan. 🌱

June, September, and October 2026 dates are already filling up, lock in your date before the year ends!

If you book your wedding with me for any 2026 date by August 31, 2025, I’ll personally help you plan your bridal shower, even if you weren’t planning to hire me for it. 😮 (Oh yes, this applies to all my current 2026 wedding bookings too!)

This includes up to one hour of planning support, enough time to walk through ideas, pick a cohesive look, and help you avoid mismatched colors or decor that ends up wasted. I won’t be there to set it up, but you’ll have a solid, stylish plan to follow.

Reviews like this make me so unbelievably happy and remind me why I love what I do. ⭐️ Like I’ve shared before, I always go into an event excited to decorate, but once it’s done, I usually start doubting myself and overthinking everything (worst case scenario brain, here 👋).

One of the best decisions I’ve made recently? Hiring a photographer to capture my work. 📸

As much as I love snapping photos after a setup, the truth is, I’m usually running on fumes and racing the clock. 😅

That’s why I’ve decided to start bringing in a professional to document most of my events moving forward. It takes a huge load off my plate and allows me to focus on what I do. ✨

Let me just say, Storm & Co. captured the details SO much better than I ever could. I’m beyond thankful to have found someone! 🫶🏼

It’s my favorite when someone comes with a vision, but also trusts me to make it my own. 🪄

Kenzie sent over some inspo photos she loved, and from there I got to do what I enjoy most - take those ideas and create something that still feels unique, polished, and personal to her. 🤍

I never copy designs exactly, but I love using inspiration as a starting point to create something that reflects both the client’s style and mine. ✨

From the photo board to the centerpieces, everything came together so beautifully, and the backdrop? That reveal is coming soon! 🤩

Ok, so I did it to myself again. I took on more graduation setups than I could realistically handle, again. 😬 We pulled it off, but just barely! 😴 Team no sleep, here!

At one point, I nearly walked straight through a window, and I’ve been hit with “Earth to Kayla?” more times than I can count. 😂 Let’s just say, lesson learned. (For real this time!) 😅

I truly love getting to style events for grads in my community, it means so much to be a part of your celebrations! 🤍

So here’s the plan for next year, I’ll be taking only ONE full event styling per day during graduation weekends. This includes setups with tables, styled accent areas, and all the extra details.

If you’re planning something more minimal (around 6–8 guest tables, without balloon work on tables or backdrops) or just need help with a specific area (like a backdrop), I may still be able to fit you in depending on timing.

DECEMBER will be the FINAL month to book graduation setups for the Turtle Mountain area, including:
🪄 DIY Tote orders (custom boxes of coordinated decor for self setup)
🪄 Grab ’n Go Backdrops (pre-designed backdrops that are available for pick up/drop off and easy to set up on your own)

These are great alternatives if your date is already booked or if you’re working with a tighter budget, but quantities are limited, and all must be reserved by December. ⏱️
