This is the dream team! We’re excited to see what this year brings.

Meet Kula: DJ, friend and all around great guy. He’s getting married this week too! I can’t say enough great things about him and I know you’ll love having him DJ your wedding. Kula is extremely talented with all things technical and he’s an advanced socialite who knows how to keep the party going. From deep cuts to mainstream bangers, he’s got what you need.

Meet Weston: Owner of Moore Entertainment and DJ, at your service. Since 2020 I’ve been helping happy couples celebrate their wedding day in style. With over 10 years of live audio and lighting experience and an engineering background, I plan for the worst and expect the best. I’m here to help you and your fiancé have an incredible wedding day.

Oldie but a goodie. Last year Kula and I did a promotional shoot together and I’ve sat on a lot of clips like this one. Thought I’d pull it out the vault and share it. I love the lighting on the drop. Enjoy!

The ceremony audio can be tricky business. When there’s 200+ people and you need to hear the officiant, the bride and groom, and a reading from a guest, how do you make sure everyone can be heard and there’s no feedback? 1. Make sure you use high quality equipment. Don’t cheap out on microphones. And come prepared with backups for anything that could fail. 2. Use column array speakers instead of traditional point source. They have much wider coverage and sound incredible. Plus they’re more portable. And using them in stereo allows you to keep levels lower while getting better coverage. 3. Auto feedback suppression is a game changer. It comes built in to most high end speakers or mixers these days. It can help keep your levels up without producing embarrassing feedback. No one wants that on their wedding day. 4. Mic check! Don’t ever skip the mic check. Make sure you have plenty of level, no feedback and your wireless signal isn’t cutting out.
