Behind the Curtain: Crafting an Event for Ideas to Thrive

Hosting a TEDx event is so much more than curating speakers or planning logistics. It’s about creating an atmosphere where ideas can truly flourish. As a marketing professional, my experience has shaped me into a strong curator—someone who understands that the storytelling aspect of the event is just the beginning. What happens behind the scenes is what breathes life into these ideas.

When you think about it, if the idea is the product, then we are in production mode every step of the way to create the environment where that idea thrives. It’s the thoughtful touches, deliberate marketing, and the emotional connections we foster that allow those ideas to live on beyond the event.

Every choice we make—from venue selection to visual design to speaker line-ups—is about setting the stage for innovation. But here’s the key: ideas worth spreading don’t end when the event does. For the first time ever, I’m hosting two TEDx events in one year, and I am absolutely thrilled to announce that tickets for TEDxApexWomen on October 12th are now on sale! 🎟️✨ This marks my 6th TEDx event, and I couldn't be prouder of the incredible journey we've had.
