The first flush of foxgloves this year have been so stunning. As usual I should have grown more …
The softer colours have been the most popular apricots, whites and soft pink/lilac tones. I’m still waiting for my miniature yellow/cream ones to fully flower. It’s the first year growing these so I’m excited to see what they are like.

A definite Miss Havisham feel in the orchard this morning as the last of the flowers give in to the frost.
I love this time of year when you clear all the beds and prepare to plant the many (1,000’s) bulbs and plugs that will start off the flowery season next year with their bright colours and flouncy frills. A mixture of excitement and hope all wrapped up in a good dollop of exhaustion!! November 🍂🌱

A quick hello to all my new followers I thought I’d reintroduce myself and say hello! My name is Claire and I’m the founder of Lovette Farm Flowers in Dorset I have a small cutting garden where I grow flowers mainly for events. I love to create wild, romantic, seasonal arrangements whether it be from the hedgerow or garden for weddings and events, from small bud vases to larger installations all capturing the stunning simplicity of a wild English garden and the countryside. Its a great privilege to also be able to do sympathy flowers working closely with families to create a floral remembrance for their loved one often using favourite flowers from their garden to incorporate into the final arrangement. As well as my own weddings I freelance too for some amazing florists around the south west which is a joy and always very inspiring. I absolutely love what I do both the growing and the arranging and all the wonderful people I work with whether it’s couples, families or fellow florists. I feel very lucky to be doing something that brings me so much joy and also the People around me. Beautiful pictures of my flowers captured by @katherinenewmanphotography
