Uncomplicating matters......
A simply styled yet very pretty and intimate garden wedding on what was one of the most inclement weekends this year.
With adverse weather warnings, a double contingency plan drafted and a dinner marquee on reserve standby the day's celebration was reorientated in less than 24hrs.
On the day the heavy passing showers ( and occasional burst of sunshine ) did not dampen the mood of our couple and their guests.

At Nautilus - Party Planner we work closely with a dedicated and experienced team of specialists to map and create memorable events for an international clientele in private homes, vacation villas and selected venues.

Located in Portugal, we provide a boutique events and wedding planning service. We operate predominantly in the Algarve and cover the whole of the region.

Combining creative event design and detailed production with a fresh and friendly approach we take your ideas and, adding some of our own, deliver engaging personalised occasions.

Whether it’s an intimate celebration or a full wedding ‘weekender’ planning your own party, particularly from overseas, can often be a daunting prospect. With an invaluable network of trusted local and national vendors and our exacting coordination of tailored events we’ll collaborate in close partnership with you to make your vision become a reality.

From initially determining your personal party style and partnering with the most suitable suppliers to the scheduling and finer finishing touches of your event we’ll carefully guide you, sparing any stress or effort, to host the perfect party.

To maintain a hands-on personal approach and ensure our focus and commitment to each of our clients we do limit the number of parties, weddings and events we plan and coordinate each year.

For weddings and parties we offer three primary tiers of either full or partial planning and a ‘final weeks & On-the-Day coordination’ option for self-planning couples and clients where vendors and suppliers have been independently sourced and booked. Each of these planning options can be tailored to your own very specific needs and requirements and wherever we pick up from we are on hand and available to assist you all the way.

LUX MARE Luxury Villas

Nautilus - party planner is the exclusively appointed wedding & event planner to the outstanding LUX MARE residences in Lagos.

LUX MARE luxury villas provide the perfect setting for marking any special occasion and we are here to ensure that whichever of life’s moments you are celebrating all your expectations are met and surpassed.

LUX MARE’s prime clifftop position provides the perfect backdrop of the Algarve coast while we take care of every detail to ensure your celebratory holiday is smooth and seamless. We can cater for formal sit-down or standing parties and weddings, additionally source leading local photographers and videographers, and help with the finer details such as entertainment, decoration and local licensing. For extended events we are also often tasked with creating less formal, casual, ‘welcome’ or ‘day after’ pool parties with entertainment, barbecue chefs or street food vendors.

Each of these two beautifully appointed contemporary villas sleep up to twelve people. They can be rented jointly for a group of twenty-four and a gated access between the gardens means they can be expanded to host the perfect private occasion.

Events and weddings at LUX MARE are reserved exclusively for guests in combination with a residential stay. Number restrictions for events, however, are not limited to only the occupancy. So, if you are planning your wedding day or a celebration in the Algarve, and the lead party is staying at LUX MARE and hosting the reception, up to eighty guests can be comfortably accommodated for your event dependent on the requisite for style and staging.

Whether you are gathering a group of family and friends for a milestone birthday, to mark an anniversary, or for a weekend wedding, a celebration event at LUX MARE, with its incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean and the rugged sun-kissed coastline of the western Algarve, will be a truly unforgettable occasion.
