We have received several calls from MEC members stating that they received a call from David Lipscomb, an employee of MEC, and that we will be using contractors to do home inspections. WE DO NOT DO HOME INSPECTIONS! This scammer is very crafty. He/She is using our phone number, an actual employees name and the call mimics our outage/maintenance notification calls.
Please be aware that NO employee of MEC, nor any of our contractors, will ask to come into your home! DO NOT let anyone into your home, even if they are wearing an MEC uniform and appear to have proper identification. Please call our office if you ever have any questions or doubts.
