This time last year they had an intimate elopement during the holiday season attended by their parents & siblings. They were so excited to go out for drinks & a celebratory lunch after the ceremony. Happy first anniversary! I hope you continue to feel the joy & excitement of your wedding day.

I did dozens of weddings this year and loved them all, but this picture is from one of my three favorites. Okay, so the three favorites WERE for family. Aren’t they a terrific looking couple? They are as nice as can be too! I was thrilled to do their wedding & work with them and their amazing vendor team.

This week they celebrate their first anniversary. They were such a lovely couple! They overcame a lot to get married and their joy was evident to anyone looking at them - neither one could stop smiling! Add to it, their children were so happy for them and helped with much of the wedding prep - support, music and flowers. Happy anniversary! Here's to many wonderful years ahead.

Happy first anniversary! They moved to Philly & fell in love with the city. Then they married in the historic Gloria Dei Old Swedes Church where Betsy Ross had also married. The church is beyond beautiful, and the acoustics were perfect! What a memorable start to their married life.

What joy to celebrate these two! Their wedding was stylish, sophisticated and a heck of a lot of fun! Their friends made me laugh while their families were so loving. And the Pittsburgh gang! Wow! One mom and a couple of aunts brought homemade cookies for a fabulous cookie table to round out the night. Top it off with the beautiful views of our city from the ceremony space to the details in the reception area - everything came together for a perfect wedding! Not only did I get to work with this wonderful couple, but it was a new vendor team for me. Many thanks to the ever calm and supportive Nicole, the Event Manager at The Notary Hotel and Darrin Winston, the Food & Beverage Operations Manager - these folks excelled at customer service. Plus filled the air with beautiful sounds and worked their photographic magic. I'm such a lucky girl that I got to be a part of this event! Here's to a long & happy life to Jack & Carter!
