Honeymoon day 9 - The last day of our honeymoon adventure saw us embarking upon another adventurous walk, this time on the other side of Loe Bar. Having navigated to the small National Trust car park at Chyvarloe we then set off towards the Loe, joined the Coast Path and passed the Anson memorial heading towards Gunwalloe. As we passed the Halzephron Inn on the way back to the car it would have been rude not to call in so a hearty lunch was consumed on the premises. All of this before packing up to return home the following day. We do hope that you have enjoyed seeing our photos but if you have any of the wedding that you would like to share please email them to Bob using his email address [email protected]

Honeymoon day 8 - Porthcurno! Who would have thought that the goings on at a small beach in Cornwall would change our world! But they did! The laying of cables from this beach to far away destinations enabled telegraph signals to travel between continents. Messages no longer took days or weeks to reach theri desinations but just hours. It was a real priviledge to visit the museum, the beach with the softest sand and the roaring waves. Hope you enjoy the pictures that will no doubt reach you in less than a second.

Honeymoon day 7 - this was definitely a walking day, and a walking day with some really spectacular views. We started at the National Trust car park at Penrose Hill and then walked toward Porthleven. Loe Bar provided a spectacular view with crashing breakers, even on a calm day. The photos and videos don't really do this view justice so if you ever get an opportunity this see this for yourselves we are sure that you wouldn't be disappointed; in the meantime enjoy the views.

Honeymoon day 6 - Sadly no photos of today, however, this does not mean that we wern't busy. We attended 'Discovery Church Penzance' in the morning and then visted Falmouth Filmhouse again to watch 'Don Quixote' - a ballet performed by the Royal Ballet from Covent Garden - this was then followed by a lovely dinner at the same venue. Ps. Just to let you know that more pictures were taken on day 7 so they will get posted soon.

Honeymoon day 5: With the weather forecast set to 'no rain' we ventured out on a circular walk from Perranuthno to Prussia Cove using the iWalk Cornwall app. The app was very impressive as it gave us detailed instructions whenever we were unsure which way to go. The weather was also reasonably impressive as it didn't try and rain on us. During the walk we were treated to some wonderful views of St Michael's Mount and the rugged coastline.

Honeymoon Day 4 - On this day we visted Marazion, Penzance & Newlyn and were impressed again by St Michael's Mount standing proudly just off shore in the bay. During the afternoon we sought out the Newlyn Playhouse that was showing the film 'The Great Escaper' starring Michael Caine and Glenda Jackson. After seeing it we both thought that this was a wonderful portrayal of a touchingly true story. We hope that you enjoy the photos attached that we took durng the day.

Honeymoon Day 3: This was the day that we visited Falmouth, and the National Maritime Museum. It was really wonderful to see all of the boats from the top floor of The Lookout and then travel down to see what was going on underwater. We managed to get some fishy photos but we're not sure what type they were - if you recognise them please do add a comment.

Honeymoon day 2: We enjoyed travelling to St Ives from Camborne on the top deck of a local bus (taking full advantage of our senior bus passes). Visted the famous Tate gallery in the town and agreed that there were some fabulous murals, pictures and sculptures within it. We particularly liked the sculptures by Barbara Hepworth.
