Piston had already made their filthy mark with their debut EP and things have been becoming uglier since the band started to work on their full length. You know about the ferocious spicy food from Hyderabad, but have you ever witnessed the ferocity of metal bands yet? They don't have many but the few existing ones take us for a surprising ride every now and then. Take Warmarshal for example, they are not too old but they have been able to put a mark on the Indian metal scene with their aggressive live shows since their inception. After putting a hiatus for two years for covid, the band is back on the scene with their long-awaited ep, which we are expecting to land on our ears very soon. Just like their name suggests - they are the ones who lead the war and are skilled in handling various arms and ammunitions with sheer proficiency and dedication, as reflected in their style of music which is primarily old-school death metal with a good chunky blend of other sub-genres like thrash, tech, and slam.

Kolkata thrash stalwart ARMAMENT is taking thrash metal to a new dimension in India through their energy-packed live shows that brings back the actual reminiscence of 80's Teutonic thrash sagas. The band is known for their pounding metal attitude and sharper-than a razor live ethics and they have been consistent in doing the same since they opened for none other than the mighty Destruction and Hellenic giant Rotting Christ in 2014! The band has finished working on their debut full length and Guwahati is one of the few chosen cities that will be lucky enough to hear and witness the album live in action, which promises total aural destruction by combining elements of extreme thrash, black and a bit of technical/prog elements! They are armed, dangerous, and vile!

BWE is initiated to complete what has been missing in the NE music and art scene - an exclusive dedication to the heavy, dark, and aesthetically intimidating face of art. We are not or will not try to establish a 'let's welcome all' culture where more than ideology, popularity gets the priority. We will engage ourselves with organizing as small gigs that will host the vicious nature of extreme metal and not the beautiful!
Having said that, we are not trying to establish a metal-only live gig culture. We personally appreciate electronica, post punk, dark-psy, new retro wave, noise and we will try to bring concerts involving artists playing these genres in the future.
To initiate our purpose, we will announce something on the coming 16th (Monday) involving some of the heaviest and true-to-the-bone extreme metal bands from various parts of India.
