Government of Canada’s imposed ban on harmful single-use plastics. Effective December 20, 2022, the manufacture and import for sale of the following harmful single-use plastics in Canada will be prohibited:

checkout bags
cutlery
foodservice ware made from, or containing, problematic plastics that are hard to recycle
stir sticks
straws (with some exceptions)

Ban on sale on above will be imposed from December 2023.

সুপারি পাতার কাব্য 🏝🏝

নিচের ছবিটা দেখুন। সুপারির খোলের গাড়িতে উঠে তার আনন্দ ফেরারি 🚘🚗বা ল্যাম্বরগিনি তে চড়ার আনন্দের চেয়ে কিছু কম নয়। আমি নিশ্চিত এই ছবিটা অনেক কেই নস্টালজিক করে তুলবে কারণ তারাও এই নির্মল আনন্দের ভাগ নিয়েছেন। তখন তো আর এত চিন্তা ছিলোনা। এখন দৈনন্দিন হাজারো চিন্তা ছাড়াও নিজের কার্বন ফুটপ্রিন্ট নিয়ে ও চিন্তা করতে হয়। কবি সুকান্তর মতো এই পৃথিবীকে ছবির শিশুটার মতো অনাগত সকল শিশুদের বাসযোগ্য করে রেখে যাবার তাগিদ যারা অনুভব করেন তারা নিজেদের প্রাত্যহিক জীবনে পরিবেশ বান্ধব উপকরণ ব্যবহারের চেষ্টা করেন।
