1. Start Early- Begin shopping for your gown 9 months before the wedding to allow time for fittings.

2. Set a Budget -Know your budget, including the cost of alterations, accessories, and cleaning.

3. Consider Your Venue and Theme -Choose a gown that complements your wedding location. A beach wedding may call for a lighter, more breathable fabric, while an estate wedding may suit something more formal.

❤️ Bonus tip- If you are getting ready at a hotel do not hang your dress on the hotel room emergency sprinkler system on the ceiling. I have experienced first hand being evacuated from a hotel in LA when a bride did this & it set off the whole sprinkler system on that floor.

New venue alert ❤️

We are super excited to announce introduce Orokawa Bay Retreat in the Coromandel.

is an intimate venue to celebrate and create an unforgettable wedding experience! It is the perfect destination for small weddings and elopements with incredible never-ending views across the ocean, as well as west across the hills to Waihī.

The Retreat itself also offers unique spaces, such as the incredible entryway into the atrium, to capture beautiful imagery and to enjoy those special moments throughout your day.

For accommodation requirements, there are four rooms off the atrium containing a King or two King single beds, each with an ensuite; offering privacy and peace. The main living area with fire, dining table and kitchen spills onto the outside deck with the stunning ocean outlook. In addition, the outdoor hot tub is just bliss with views all the way to Mount Maunganui.
