The SWE Team Six event was a little more complicated to get listed than others, but we've got it all sorted now, and the tickets have gone live.

Some items will display as free, this is because you'll book them online but pay for them upon arrival. We work very closely with to bring you this event, and some of the items such as Rentals and Pyro have to be managed by them due to transportation and licensing restrictions.

There is a reduced price ticket for teams of 6, so if you already know who's in your squad there is an opportunity to get a cheaper ticket. We will as always be putting scratch teams together for those not attending in a group.

OMG are always at the forefront of magfed, and we have been lucky enough to receive some of the pre-production HS shaped projectile rounds.

A video with much more information, us shooting them, and of course a comparison to First Strike rounds will be following shortly.

Shaped projectiles are unique to magfed, so it's genuinely exciting to see a new product coming to market aimed purely at our niche area of paintball.

Things on the surface have been pretty quiet around the SWE Team Six event in Sweden this summer, but we have been having meetings with and the site owner to make this years event even better.

Tickets for the event, along with the various rental, accommodation, and food options will be going live this week. We know a lot of players have already made their travel arrangements, and we are looking forward to seeing you all for another epic event.

What's a realistic amount of notice paintball players need for a weekend event?

We know there isn't going to be a single answer to this, but if we can get an indication it'll be very helpful. OMG Events sometimes get offered locations at short notice, and while we're confident we can arrange a great event in time, we're never sure how short is to short for our players.

We know people need to arrange weekends away around their family and work commitments, but how short is too short? We'd never do anything that's less than a month away, but would 6-7 weeks be unreasonable.

Hypothetically speaking if FOR EXAMPLE we were offered an MoD venue such as Longmoor or Sennybridge, or even somewhere brand new that's never been played before, with 6-7 weeks notice, is it something our magfed community would want us to pursue?

It's official, its down in Black and Orange, OMG Events will be hosting the magfed big game as part of the Mayhem Paintball Games big game event that's being held across the August bank holiday weekend 22nd- 24th.

We are really looking forward to working with Ross, Ronnie, and their team, combining forces to bring you the best possible magfed experience.

So, what's the freebie we promised earlier in the week. Well first off, we're setting our latest video free so you can all get hyped about the upcoming Ragnarok event.

And using it to announce that we'll be holding the previously postponed 2024 Magfed Awards evening on the Saturday night at Driffield, so when you buy a Ragnarok 7 ticket you automatically get a free ticket for the Magfed Awards. Naturally all those who have already got their event ticket will qualify too.

To make sure the evening is one to remember we've also arranged for not 1 but 2 bands to do live performances, and we have a DJ to follow them and keep the party going.

Tickets are available only from the OMG ticket office, please if you get offered them from anywhere else check with us first, the more popular our events become the more unwanted attention they are attracting.

Booking early really helps OMG Events to organise the best posable event, so there are some new ticket types available. For each event the first 50 players on each team to book will receive their event patch included within the ticket price, players outside of this group will if they want one need to purchase the patch separately.

We are also releasing 3 bolt action sniper tickets for each team, they include a patch and will be snapped up very quickly. These will be the only players allowed to shoot FSR at Snakepit 4.

OMG are aware that just after Christmas a lot of people are feeling financially squeezed, and a big part of the booking and website revamp was to enable us to offer additional payment options. You can now pay right away, Pay with 3 interest-free instalments, or Pay in 30 days time. We hope these changes will make buying tickets and First Strike Rounds easier to budget, and we'll be adding more product lines over the coming year.

Snakpit 3 last year was an epic game and I know from chatting to players it was their favourite event of 2024, we are really looking forward to being back there, and over a 'normal' weekend rather than being limited to a Bank holiday. As always we have plans to make this years event bigger and better, and have been looking at ways to increase the parking and include more of the buildings into the playable area.

We say this all the time, but we genuinely do look forward to seeing you at the events, the only reason we do them is for our magfed community, and if you have any questions or suggestions we're always happy to hear them.

The Events team are ecstatic about being able to bring some new and very exciting tech to our future events. We aren't just the first people to have this system in the UK but we're the only paintball or airsoft company in Europe.

We'll be scheduling a few live feeds to properly introduce you to the new system, but wanted to give you a sneaky peak. TBH we're struggling to contain our excitement about being able to bring such a pioneering product to you, and genuinely think it'll change how magfed can be played in the UK.

We have been very careful to ensure this tech doesn't distract players from the game, and in it's most basic configuration it's more straightforward than our current domination boxes. With this new system you don't need to remember which team you're on, and you can't accidentally press the light rather than the button. The versatility of the system also affords us the opportunity to make some really in-depth side missions for those who want them, involving multiple objectives, props, teamwork, and even sabotage.

We have invested heavily into this system and bought 14 boxes, so we'll be able to program them to have wide and varied functions to suit all our players. We've also bought additional tech that will mean we can turn pretty much anything or anyone into an interactive in-game prop, the possibilities are endless.

The live feed dates will be posted up across our socials, so watch this space, and make sure you tune in for an introduction to what we believe will be Magfed 2.0

We know a lot of magfed players aren't interested in open class big games, facing off against 15BPS tournament markers isn't the sort of paintball you want, but Mayhem Paintball Games Big game is most defiantly worth giving a go at least once. There are great magfed only games running on the Friday and Saturday which are in themselves worth the ticket price, the atmosphere around the site is great, and there is an opportunity to visit all the online retailers in person. The Big game on Sunday does have a lot of scenario and tournament players on the field, but don't forget that half of them are on your team, working with them and using the strengths that magfed markers bring to achieve objectives makes for rewarding play, especially if you shoot First Strike the extra range and accuracy is a huge advantage. The other team might have a line shooting 15 a second at you, but if they are all falling short while you are landing FSR on heads, it's them walking to respawn. It's not just FSR that gives us an advantage, a lot of us use coms, and of course pyro, you never see smokes being deployed on a Supair field, things we're used to dealing with are alien to a lot of the other players. I've played events like this, and had tournament players seeking us magfed FSR users out to come and clear players they can't reach, working together to bring home the win is something everyone should experience. There are Magfed only tickets available for those who don't want the box of paint. SWE Team Six - The Commander is played in an old Sanatorium that's surrounded by woodlands in Sweden, and is a bucket list event. OMG Events partner with Outriders to bring you this unique venue and exciting game format. Because we haven't been able to use the epic Anzio Camp for 5 years, the game footage we have available is a little dated.
