Looking for a fun way to make sure you greet all your guests day of? Natalie and Hudson thought to hand out the plates to each of their guests and everyone loved it! I go to church with this sweet brides family and was so honored when they asked for help in planning their day! About Designs By Ashlie Smith
My name is Ashlie Smith and I am an Architectural Associate who also specializes in Interior Design and Event Planning and Design.
I grew up visiting for-sale homes with my mom #realtorlife. And I fell in love with studying the different layouts and finishes of each home. Any chance I got I would pull out my art supplies and draw up a new floor plan full of all sorts of creative nooks and secret rooms that seemed like a dream to be able to play in. Ahhh, those were the days my friends.
I feel lucky to still have that passion. It’s followed me through the years, getting my Master of Architecture, landing an amazing job at an Architecture firm right after college. And learning from amazing people who taught me everything from the fundamentals of good design to the importance of building client relationships.
Not only have I always had a passion for architecture and interior design but event design and styling has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I can’t tell you how many times I have styled parties for my friends and family over the years. Then, for the past three years, any time our office has events I am the go-to person for help on styling photo booths, baby showers, or Christmas parties.
These things seriously bring me pure joy so I thought it was time to combine all of my passions and skills I have acquired over the years to start my own business ─ cue the extreme joy and simultaneous nervous breakdown.

I have been married for 4 years to my wonderful husband Cody.
I’m a dog mom to my sweet cockapoo Oliver.
I’m constantly laughing!
I’m obsessed with Joanna Gaines and Drake ─ those are not mutually exclusive.
I live in the beautiful state of Washington.
