This brides sweet mom was planning this wedding from Texas along with our help and designed all the faux flowers herself and shipped up a ton of this decor for the day! Jewel toned wedding dreams were activated when it all came together day of!!

This is such a special photo to me! Taken by .anne.thompson at the best of gala! We were blessed with the win in the Best of Designer outside Seattle Category! Such an honor!

And not only does that mean the world to me but this photo does because it highlights .coordinates too! Who has been pinnacle in our success this summer with lead coordinating so many weddings and taking on many rental deliveries along side me.

I haven’t talked much about this but I grew up going to Church on Saturdays as a Seventh Day Adventist and I really strayed from being consistently going to church the last couple years because I put all my energy into this business with rarely taking a day off. .coordinates came into my life at the perfect time when I really wanted to get back to going to church and have a day a week that I could see my family and not miss out on all the family gatherings. It’s just been the biggest blessing having Carlie in my life and I wanted a permanent spot on my feed highlighting her and thanking her for going on this ride along with me. This summer in particular has been busier than ever and she never complains, always has a positive attitude, is always there for me through thick and thin and I’m just eternally thankful! Go give her some love and a follow y’all!

When working with us we love to work with you to sort out the most important parts of the venue to decorate. These cute steps are right by the dance floor and also where the bridal party walked out for the processional so we thought it would be a great spot to jazz up with some disco balls and the bride made these amazing babies breath clouds to tuck around everything. 5 Tips for First Time Officiants 1. Step out of the way when it is time for the couple to kiss so that you’re not in their photo. 2. When handing off the rings have whoever is handing them to you pass them in the palm of their hand and you grab them out so there is no fumble. 3. Remind the couple to mail their license the next day or mail it for them. 4. Tell the crowd when to “all rise” when the bride enters and “please be seated” when it’s time to sit. 5. Go to the rehearsal if you can. Practice those transitions and it’ll go a lot smoother. About Designs By Ashlie Smith

My name is Ashlie Smith and I am an Architectural Associate who also specializes in Interior Design and Event Planning and Design.

I grew up visiting for-sale homes with my mom #realtorlife. And I fell in love with studying the different layouts and finishes of each home. Any chance I got I would pull out my art supplies and draw up a new floor plan full of all sorts of creative nooks and secret rooms that seemed like a dream to be able to play in. Ahhh, those were the days my friends.

I feel lucky to still have that passion. It’s followed me through the years, getting my Master of Architecture, landing an amazing job at an Architecture firm right after college. And learning from amazing people who taught me everything from the fundamentals of good design to the importance of building client relationships.

Not only have I always had a passion for architecture and interior design but event design and styling has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I can’t tell you how many times I have styled parties for my friends and family over the years. Then, for the past three years, any time our office has events I am the go-to person for help on styling photo booths, baby showers, or Christmas parties.
