One thing that I'm going to be doing moving forward is rewarding one random couple who chose to book me for their wedding a gift card to one of their favorite restaurants they may not get to visit very often. I will have all my past couples placed into a randomizer and will announce the winner by the end of the week! There may also be a bit of a bonus if you previously left a review!

I officially wrapped up the 2024 wedding season this past weekend. As the dust settles, it's time to check out Google and see what some of my couples had to say about their experiences. Getting the Election Scaries? Waiting on pins and needles for the dust to settle at the polls? Life is full of decisions that may ultimately be out of your control. Your wedding or event is not one of those things!

Do your homework with this vendor “election” strategy sheet! Whose contract you put your name on is basically casting your vote for someone who you may not know, blindly trusting them to make YOUR day just that: yours.

Ask the tough questions, compare candidates, make sure they are who you want to believe in to give you what they promised all those months ago.

Per usual, I didn’t take many pictures, but I did take in all the moments of doing FOUR events in FOUR days.
Up first was partnering with the awesome VC Boutique for their annual fashion show that benefited Golden Girls Group Home.

Then on to Friday, the new Mr. and Mrs. McMillion had me set the tone for forever at the Ashland Train Depot.

On to Saturday, Ali and Tim Morgan lit the night up at one of my favorite venues in the state at Grandview Cottages.

To round out the week, I got the privilege to DJ at the absolute crown jewel venue (in my opinion) in WV at Summit Bechtel Reserve for Mrs. and Mrs. Reyna.

Now. Nap time. Then back to the grind for Halloween and 2 more weddings in the coming weeks.

Event number two of the weekend was at Weymouth Hill in Ironton, OH for the inaugural Be Her event supporting Marshall women’s athletics. Talk about girl power. There was about 8-10 female owned businesses serving as vendors for the day that made the event that much better. Can’t wait for future partnerships with the Herd 🦬

Catch me outside for spinning West Virginian artists at one of Huntington’s biggest gems, The Wild Ramp. Everything in the store is LOCALLY sourced. They’ve got jewelry, veggies, coffee, ice cream (my personal fav), meat, and hundreds of other things tucked away on their shelves. All love to the Huntington Chamber of Commerce for the start of seeing my ugly mug E.V.E.R.Y.W.H.E.R.E.
