Today I learned something valuable that I am excited to teach my future students if given a chance. But here's a quick reminder to my former students who follow me on this page. Never underestimate your ability to learn and your values just because a privileged capitalist invalidates them and calls them "skewed" without bothering to know your story. You do not owe them anything, and they do not own you. Be loyal to yourself, not to these businessmen. Keep your head high, think of what you are now, and be proud of what you have become after your past problems, mistakes, and choices. That in itself is resilience!

People in my inner circle have witnessed how I made bold career decisions lately. From late 2022 to early 2023, while things were so uncertain to me, I decided to join the teaching staff of the SBM-MKHRM Department. And as USJR has always been home to me, I knew that if I'd pay it forward thru teaching, it must be in my alma mater.

In my first semester, I met students whose laughter and antics during our class sessions will always energize me and whose personalities and responsiveness have depth and lessons to learn from. In a similar semester, I also had the chance to coach a group of students who got the character to brave anything for their dreams and were lucky enough to win them.

It is just the beginning, and I'm already having a lot of fun. Indeed, teaching is learning twice. 😍

Even as of this writing, I still don't have the right words to describe how I felt earlier today while traversing Balinsasayao Lake to reach the watch tower and see Lake Danao on the other side of Twin Lake. While Ate Joan was paddling our small bangka, in the middle of the lake, I closed my eyes and listened to the sound of the birds and what could be some wildlife around the lake. Then I realized, it's been a while since I have felt Him. Today, God reminded me that I may not have seen Him face to face but seeing His creation and hearing the beautiful music of His natural wonders, He is alive. And without the noise of the society humans created, we could have appreciated life more.

As a consumer, I love technology. As a marketer, I appreciate what it can do to make my work more efficient. If you genuinely care about what you do, of course, it will scare the hell out of you. One day, AI can be as skillful, but it will never be as human.

Are these AI content-generation tools a good thing? What should a marketer do?

We visited Bacolod without an itinerary. Upon arriving, we just left our luggage at the hotel and started walking and exploring. It is so liberating. No qualms, just pure spontaneity.

We visited Jojo Vito Design Gallery in Bacolod and experienced Maskara Painting. It took me an hour to finish a small mask canvas, 'coz I enjoyed doing it that I forgot about time. It is what I love about undetailed vacations - flexible itineraries and just being spontaneous - that makes you forget your stressors back home. Art and Travel combined - simply therapeutic.

One of the many things we love to do is Media Relations. Scrolling my grid these days makes me realize how Sinulog's commercial value skyrocketed over its spiritual value. As a marketer, I could easily say that the festivity is good for the business. But as I know what it also means to the devotees, I remember not to overdo things. I hope our local leaders also remember this whenever they make fiesta celebrations a political drama. Anyway, Pit Senyor!

Growing up, I've always doubted myself on many things because I felt like I'm always not good enough. In class, I am not the brightest. In student organizations, I feel like I'm always second-rate. I always fall short. Almost but never. My competitive spirit shuts down whenever I see someone do things better than I can. That doubt continued to grow in me even when I started working already. There are days that I get so caught up with my insecurities that I end up going with the flow, even if my mind thinks otherwise.

One day, I found myself getting lost and not knowing my direction. The lack of confidence killed my vision. Not long enough, I resisted my mediocre mindset and started living a more intentional life - not to be fixated on a specific direction and goal, but to be more intentional with my life decisions. To be more present. To be more decisive with what I want and what I need to accomplish. I have stopped comparing myself to others. I've grounded myself in my purpose, and my intentions.

I have not perfected this mindset yet. I don't think I can, but I am a work in progress. It is why I always keep an eye on my intentions.

Hello,

nagemine.ph is a brand derived from my birth name and the Estonian word nägemus, which means vision.

As a Creative, I specialize in writing speeches, corporate and business write-ups, brand news, and press releases. I also organize and host corporate events, brand activations, and product launches.

As an Innovator, I have an aptitude for problem-solving, designing systems and processes, and continuous improvement. Importantly, I see challenges as an opportunity to innovate and embrace change.

As a Marketer, I have worked with brands from various industries. I have helped them strengthen or establish their name in their respective markets. I have led and initiated campaigns that have disrupted their industries toward positive change.

As an Advocate, I promote causes that are close to me, such as but not limited to social justice causes. I speak and try to educate people on these advocacies as my contribution to social good. I also like helping brands that support these causes.

And as a Trainer, I conduct pieces of training on Leadership, Personality Development, Team Building, Customer Management, Content Marketing, and Marketing Management. As a learner, I love teaching and coaching as it makes me learn twice.
