Something I don’t talk about very much is that as a service I design/help plan/advise 😅 weddings.

I’ve never been sure what to call it but I know my approach well.

I listen and I ask simple questions, mostly about logistics.

Then we try to make it as beautiful as possible.

Then I clean up, because I care about you !! 😛

I do it because I’m a sucker for people in love and I know I can make your day better. 🧡

A little excursion to SJ (thanks Jeremy!) and I’m the proud owner of 100 more chairs 💯

Who knew you could (probably) fit 100 chairs on the back of a truck 🙋‍♀️

I picked them up for free, from a church hall, from two lovely ladies wanting them to go to a good home, and stay together (I want that too)
I hope I do them justice 🧡

Earth earth baby 🌎🌎

I think today is as good as time as any to talk about how in my every day life and business I think about sustainability.

Well! I think it’s about everyone choosing positive change & no shame.

It can feel small but cumulatively it’s just not.
I re-use everything I can, I recycle everything I can. I compost, I try to buy secondhand first and limit one time plastics. It doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. It means I try! ✌️

I take this same philosophy to weddings. Weddings & events can be (SO) wasteful and my goal is always to mitigate that impact.

I also started following accounts that speak to productive change, one of my favourites is .eco

Another one of my favourite switches has been to natural beauty products. In my experience it takes trial and error AND it’s totally worth it when you find the right switch.
