Vocalmyx is a talented and hardworking contemporary acapella vocal group that has made it to the Grand Finals of The Voice Generations Philippines under Coach Stell (Team STELLBOUND). It is composed of eight (8) young aspiring singers from Cagayan de Oro who are the 1st 4-Chair Turner during the Blind Audition. Their passion for music is evident in their performances, which are always full of energy and emotion. It's clear that they have put in countless hours of practice to perfect their craft, and their dedication is truly inspiring.

As fans, supporters, and music enthusiasts, we can show our support for VocalMyx by voting for them and spreading the word about their music. With the aim of reducing the number of home deliveries and encouraging "Hilots" to collaborate with the healthcare team in advocating for deliveries in medical facilities, Jean Suzette Macayapag, a member of the Sangguniang Bayan of Talakag in Bukidnon, introduced the "𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁" as part of the YLGG 5 program.

Promoting awareness among expectant mothers about the risks associated with pregnancy constitutes one of Coun. Suzette's main objectives. She emphasizes the significance of choosing healthcare facilities for childbirth, where potential complications related to pregnancy can be effectively managed.

However, the implementation of this initiative is met with challenges due to cultural and traditional factors deeply rooted in the community. Some pregnant women still rely on traditional birthing attendants (manghihilots) for home deliveries instead of seeking care at clinics or hospitals. To address this, the LGU intends to collaborate with manghihilots, involving them as advisors to pregnant women and providing training to promote better maternal and child health practices. Incentives are also planned to recognize their contribution.

An amendment to this ordinance was officially approved on May 16th. Consequently, a significant increase in facility-based deliveries is anticipated.

We extend our gratitude to Coun. Suzette for her pioneering effort in safeguarding the well-being of pregnant women in Talakag. Your initiative is truly commendable! Keep up the excellent work!
