Saturdays… without Fletcher.
It took me a long time to be able to go back to the studio - and then to record this special reel in memory of my side kick Fletcher. He was always right below my white pillar - watching - sniffing the blooms - being always there for me - especially during all the late nights. Until 3 Saturdays ago, when he was abruptly taken away - hit by a car (hit and run). I didn’t know losing a furry friend would be so hard - but it has been very difficult for me. I want to thank you all for your care - your patience while I took the time to grieve. I know I missed a bit over the past few weeks and am very thankful for your understanding.

One week ago today I completed my biggest floral design to date. It was a wonderful challenge and I am so thankful to Saaraa and Jasmine from @blushandcoevents for trusting me with it.
It takes a village and I wouldn’t have done any of it without the support of so many individuals. From the amazing local wholesalers, + local growers (@joyhustleflowers for the cosmos, agrostemma, orlaya, scabiosa fama) + @little_daisy_flower_garden for the extra much needed orlaya and snaps), to the team of individuals (I’ll list below) - I am so grateful!
From my plus one @shane_calgary_yyc_realtor for being there at a moments notice when I needed him, to @sweetwilliamsco for helping prep and the coffee, to @pineforcedar and @monalysa.floral for waking me up and getting everything organized to make the HUGE centerpieces, to Hieu (not on Instagram) for working with me till midnight the day prior with a big smile and creating the best bud vases ever, to @henandchicksyyc for being an amazing on-site expert and support - words cannot describe how lucky and grateful I am to have these talented - strong - caring - amazing individuals in my life.
