🎃👻 Did you know that it all started with Halloween? 👻 🎃

Growing up we weren’t allowed to go trick or treating (it wasn’t as popular in the 90s), so my Mam would throw Halloween parties for all of mine and my brothers friends in our kitchen. Baking tombstone sausage rolls, creating gunges from what was in the cupboard’s to dip our hands in to and pull out treats, hanging soaked invisible thread from the ceiling for us all to walk through ‘spiderwebs’, making our costumes from old clothes and even covering the bins to become ghosts.

Fast forward to being a student in Newcastle. Me and my eldest brother headed to the local fancy dress shop and spent most of our student loans on props (some to gross to mention), lights and decorations for the party we held in my student flat in the centre of town. With all of our friends attending and us seeing their faces (some in horror) of what we put together, we said to each other ‘We should start doing parties’

Though it took almost 20 years of hospitality, venue management and PA jobs, getting married, several city moves and two children, I now get to ‘do parties’ for work.

✨💜 Summer Holidays are over and the kids are back to school

☀️ We’ve had a busy Summer whilst solo parenting throughout the holidays then finally running whilst raising a whopping £1119 for Thank you to all that donated and supported a brilliant cause

🍂 Heading into Autumn and Winter with some very exciting events planned already which we’re really looking forward to working on. Though there is still availability for smaller packages (banner, cake toppers and party hats) in our diary.

💛🖤 Our forest of branded balloons are ready to head down to the charity event in support of

There will be a swim from Tatums beach starting at 11am followed by quiz in the pub in the evening. All in memory of a beloved member of the company.

We have donated our time to make and provide these balloons as well as made a monetary donation to the charity ourselves. Man Down provide a safe and non-judgmental space for men to talk about their mental health issues and concerns. Please consider donating if you can.

🌸 Spring Craft Club

✂️ A lovely afternoon spent creating with four craft stations.

🧶 We made pom poms, book marks, flowers with vases and decorated our letters from our names and more.

✂️ Four activity tables with guidance to what they can achieve. Light refreshments provided to keep them going.

💜 £10 per child for two hours on Monday 27th May. 1pm-3pm at Gerrans Memorial Hall. A couple of prepaid places are available to use throuh our PIF pot.
