Doing language exchanges while easily walking around historic Water Metering Structure Plaza and the flat wooden trail. Immerse yourself in nature with phytoncides, and practice speaking Mandarin Chinese or Taiwanese in real life such as meal ordering, store conversation or how to talk at a convenience store. If you just want to walk around, enjoy nature, or have fun and relaxing time, welcome to join us too. (You don't have to talk all the time)

It's nice and easy to walk on this wooden trail, which is flat and no steep stairs, and sit on some spots for culture exchanges and Mandarin Chinese practice.

有機會和外國人一邊參與在充滿芬多精的公園和平坦木棧道輕鬆散步，沿途會有定點坐著休憩，進行文化語言交流，練習外文對話，增進你的外國語言流利度和學習實用外國口語表達，如果只想參與活動、喜愛大自然，也歡迎報名參加唷。

When I was a child and teenager , I used to wait for a bus at the bus stop in front of this old building. At that time, some street vendors were selling goods and snacks under the old pedestrian arcade, was accompanied with passengers who went to various destinations, no matter it's raining or sunny day, And, I knew that this shabby old building was a historic warehouse built during Japanese ruling time in Taiwan until I grew up as an adult. No one mentioned what this building was over those years, which it might be due to its past during WWII. I never visited it again until the end of this year.

I glanced around one piece of the wall relics of the historic warehouse left was set on the “Warehouse of Taipei Memory". Oh! It's really a memory to people who commuted to various destinations in Taipei many years ago.

老北部人的記憶，很久很久以前年幼時總是在這棟舊舊建築物 (從未開過門像是廢棄老房子)前的公車站牌等公車，騎樓下有時會有賣雜貨或小吃的攤販，晴天雨天就這樣陪伴著等公車轉乘去各地的大人小孩，後來長大之後才知道原來這舊舊的建築物竟然是日本時代留下來的古蹟倉庫，終於在今年再次造訪了它，看到它的磚牆放置在現在的「記憶倉庫」中。

啊!那塊磚牆真的是當時的小孩青少年對那段時光的記憶呀~

近日有些線上報名人士當日臨時取消活動或沒現身，或是提早報名後又取消，造成主辦方和其他報名參加人士權益受損和不便。

希望日後報名者是真的可以參加活動，再報名。

希望大家不要因為網路匿名不用預先繳報名費，而隨便報名惡作劇又不參加，造成主辦方時間和、交通行政作業和準備飲品的浪費。

請大家保持純正善意。

有許多人是認真想語言交換和文化交流

因為初辦期間，主辦方人力不足和報名人數較少，每個報名者都是活動舉辦與否的重要因素之一，希望大家能理解。

we have received some signup from foreigners and Taiwanese online but some of them didnt show up on the day of the activity or cancelled to join in on the day of the activity.

It is an online world and no require to pay signup fee in advance, so we hope people do want to join in LE activities and then sign up. Not just sign up and cancel it or no show up which caused the waste of the organizer'time, administrative process, prepared drinks,transportation cost, as well as benefits of other participants who truly want to have language and culture exchanges with others.

As taiwan LE treat's low exposure, insufficient human resource and few people who sign up in the beginning of promoting LE WALK activity, so everyone who sign up for every LE activity is important and counts. We hope that you all really want to join in an LE activity and sign up for it.

Once many people sign up for LE Walk activities, there will be no difference if you just don't show up on the day of the activity. Hope that people who are interested in these LE WALK activities can understand it.

Doing a language exchange while walking around in nostalgic Dadaocheng Commerce area to practice Mandarin Chinese or Taiwanese speaking and listening skills in the real world including some daily topic conversations, as well as to improve your Mandarin Chinese.

When you walk into this area, you will see various tea, herbal medicine, dried goods, handcraft items, and experience traditional Taiwanese culture. You will get to know some temple culture in Taiwan. Going to local shops to know local foods and goods, and practice how to order food and pronounce various goods like a local person (optional).
