Private chef days out here are always such a blast in
Today we made merguez sausage sandwiches, cauliflower salad, carrot soup and a melon salad for lunch. Pre dinner apps were edamame bites with a burnt lemon aioli, pork belly steam buns, and poke bites followed with silken tofu & avocado with a trussle soy vinaigrette, soy & mushroom braised chicken, miso Brussels, ume sweet potatoes with pickled seaweed, cranberries & celery, and seared salmon. Last but certainly not least for this week, matcha chocolate covered strawberries

It's mulberry season!
These delicious little berries have an amazing honey musk. Mixed will a lightly lavender perfumed panna cotta accentuated their natural sweetness and gave us a nice cooling summer dessert

Light and fresh is just around the corner! Start thinking about Easter, Mother’s Day and Graduations! Special prepared meals for a small group that can be easily dropped off ready to go if that’s what you’re looking for. Special days like those deserve some food made with love. This was lunch the other day.. smoked salmon salad with blueberries, walnuts, avocado dressed in a sweet chili and chia seed vinaigrette. Must have soup with salad so a delicious carrot/ginger with couscous. Reach out and let us know how we can make your next event special.

It was a cold one today that is for sure.. don’t think we even came close to double digits...Even colder tomorrow. It can get pretty boring feeling locked in.. so what better way to pass the time? Cook something. It’s the season for steak.. Chili rubbed flat iron steak, cauliflower/mushroom hash, potato cup filled with tomato/bacon jam, whipped carrots/cauliflower/ginger, fresh avocado. Blast of flavor and texture. Perfect meal for an intimate dinner for two if there happens to be a certain special day coming up?..😏

This fruit board is refreshing for a Valentine's weekend, but this one was special gift for the kids over at the cultural enrichment center
We've been making some really fun meals for the kids a few times a week, trying to expand some young palettes. I am constantly amazed on how far we can push kids to try new things, this week we make kimchi fried rice and a moroccan chicken and butternut stew. With Valentine's day around the corner an a plethora of gorgeous fruit I wanted to share the excitement of pulling pomegranate arils, the beauty of a blood orange, and some kiwis (I didn't try a kiwi until my 20's!)
