REMOVED PRIOR TO THE EVENT! NO STRIPPING OF VEHICLES ON FAIRFGROUNDS!!

***Everyone can have 1/8in thick plate inside/outside on driverâs door welded solid with 1inch overlap on finder, rocker, and rear door/quarter panel, or concrete. If your car is white, please paint a different color! It is mandatory all driver doors must be painted white!
⢠You must wear a seatbelt, have DOT helmet and eye protection on at all times on the track!
⢠No 4WD vehicles, or limousines are permitted.
⢠Street Stock Mini: FWD car with a wheelbase no bigger than 109â. Any car with RWD no Bigger than a 106â wheelbase. No full frame cars.
General
Judges Decisions Are Final.
⢠The windshield may be left in the car, but we recommend removing it. If you choose to remove it, it must be done before coming to the fairgrounds.
⢠Interior must be clean of trash, debris, and glass. All plastic bumper covers, mirrors, chrome, headlights, taillights (bulbs included), and fiberglass must be removed. This will be enforced on all the outside body parts. All airbags and pucks must be removed. You may take out plastic fender wells.
⢠You may run a shifter, gas or brake pedals and oil/trans cooler. (No added strength to the body and frame or it will be removed)
⢠Any aftermarket parts must be approved by Get Bent Promotions (Anthony King 859-307-1714) or text Richard Dalton at (859) 240-6071. You must call and submit pictures for approval. Parts that are not approved before the derby are not permitted to run.
⢠Secure your gas tank and battery, if you donât then you will not run. Will be checked!!!
⢠No car will be ran thatâs leaking fuel!!!!
⢠A 12x12 roof sign is recommended. It cannot strengthen the car in any way.
⢠You must pass inspection within 2 times through or you will not be permitted to run!
⢠No painting of frames, underneath of the car, inside the body of the car, or inside the trunk.
⢠Any controversies or protests must be brought up at the drivers meeting. We have the right to reinspect, drill, or cut any car at any time! If you are caught breaking the rules you will forfeit prizes and/or winnings due for event! Top 3 will be reinspected!
⢠Cars must have working brakes at all times.
⢠If you hammer/shape/weld on the frame in any manner not covered in the rules you will not be able to run. There is no fixing this.
⢠All trailer hitches and braces must be removed.
⢠Patches and rust repair are permitted only if cleared by official. Call Anthony first or text Richard.
⢠You have 1 minute to make an aggressive hit. After 1 minute that car is disqualified. That is 1-minute total. An aggressive hit is solely at the discretion of the officials.
⢠You are not permitted to hit anyone in the driverâs door. If you do, you are disqualified. If you use your driverâs door to take advantage of this rule, the car that hit you is not disqualified.
⢠You may not get out of your car for any reason during the heat until you are out and only then when the officials give the OK or your car is on fire!
⢠You are only permitted to have 1 fire in your car.
⢠ABSOLUTLY No sandbagging, teaming, or holding. Any of these will result in a disqualification.
You cannot pin to win.
Cage:
⢠Driver door bar, back bar, and roll over bar, door bars are to be no bigger than 3x3x 1/4", front and rear bars no bigger than 3x3x 1/4" and you may have a gas tank protector but does not touch frame or body.
⢠NO KICKERS OR DOWNLEGS ANYWHERE!! You cannot use your steering column or battery box it will be cut out.
⢠Your door bars must be no further back than 12 inches from the door post, that goes for the back seat bar as well.
⢠Door bars, and tank protector must be 4 inches away from any floor pan or anything to
strengthen the car. The only thing that can be against the sheet metal is the back of the tank protector. Do not weld, bolt, or pin it to anything. Floating fuel tank box is allowed
⢠If your batteries, steering column, trans cooler or anything acts as a kicker/pin/ gusset it will be removed.
⢠Roll bar must go straight up and over. You may bolt it with 2- 1â2 bolts to the roof only, no bigger than a 4x4 plate for those mounting spots no bigger than 3x3x 1/4" on the roll bar.
Body:
⢠You may have 4 fix plates total fresh or pre ran 4x4x1/4in.
⢠All body mount bolts must be factory stock NO altering.
⢠You may crease the outer panel, but it must be behind the back door on the quarter panels only, but NO WEDGE CARS! The quarter panels must stay stock height. Pre bending is ok but donât be excessive!!!
⢠You may have a safety bar behind the driverâs seat and driverâs door bar.
⢠You may also reinforce the driverâs door as you choose for safety door seam to door seam only.
Engine:
⢠It must have the factory engine of the make and model of the car with the stock exhaust or headers. The exhaust may be cut off.
⢠Header protectors are ok but must not connect to anything else such as factory strut bars or anything else.
⢠The engine must be mounted with the stock mounts in the stock position. No welding of mounts. They must be bolted in.
⢠No homemade cross members. The cross member must be stock and bolted in, not welded.
⢠You are permitted an aftermarket aluminum radiator, but it must be bolted in like factory or held in with rachet straps or #9 wire. No radiator protectors or holders are permitted.
⢠Radiators must remain in factory location, no added coolers. Do not spray foam around Radiator.
⢠Fuel tank protector is to be no wider than 24 inches and must be 6â away from all sheet metal. No Exceptions! No bigger than 3x3x1/4".
⢠You may leave the stock gas tank in the stock location, or you may relocate the fuel tank to the rear floor of the car. If this is done, you must use a fuel cell or boat tank. If it is a plastic fuel tank it must be bolted or welded to sheet metal in a steel structure.
⢠No stock fuel tanks are permitted inside of the car.
⢠If you move the fuel cell to the inside of the car it must be securely fastened to the floor with bolts and/or #9 wire and you must remove the stock tank from under the car.
⢠Ratchet straps are approved to mount the fuel cell.
Battery:
⢠You must move battery to inside the car.
⢠You may move the battery to the floor of the car.
⢠You may lengthen the cables to reach the battery on the floor.
Hood:
⢠It must have factory hood to that car.
⢠There must be a 12" hole in the hood in case of a fire.
⢠You must remove the hood latch, and the hood must be open for inspection. No exception!
⢠Hoods may be wired or chained in 8 spots and no more than 2 double stains of wire per spot. You may use 5/16â chain or 2 strands of #9 wire per spot. It must be sheet metal to sheet metal only.
⢠A double strain of #9 wire in the center of the front windshield is mandatory. No welding of washers for holes.
Trunks:
⢠It must be chained or wired in no more than 8 places and no more than 2 double stains of wire per spot. Two of these may go around the bumper and/or the frame.
⢠The deck lid and tailgate must be in the factory position on the car, or it must be completely removed from the car.
⢠If you removed the deck lid you are not permitted any wire for your trunk.
⢠Two (2) 8â x 8â inspection holes must be put in all deck lids within 2â of the center of the quarter panel rain channel.
⢠You cannot remove the speaker deck from the car.
⢠No welding or adding metal is permitted. If the deck lid is welded, you will not run or you will cut the deck lid completely off with no exceptions.
⢠The deck lid is being measured 12â from the top of the rear quarter panels in the center of the deck lid in 3 spots starting from the back of the deck lid up.
⢠If you donât have a deck lid, you are not permitted any wire for your trunk.
Doors:
⢠You can only weld the driverâs door anything else has to be wire
⢠The doors must be chained or wired in no more than 8 places per door and no more than
double stains of wire per spot. The wire for the bottom of the doors may go around the frame. You may use 5/16â chain or 2 strands of #9 wire per spot.
⢠You can weld the driverâs front door only for safety using 3â x 3â x 1/4â strapping and you can have a door skin no thicker than 1/8â or similar material. No other doors may be welded or have washers or angle iron welded to them.
⢠A door plate can be used if you choose. Door plate can overlap the front fender and rear door 3 inches and is to be no thicker than 3/16 material.
Frame/Bumpers:
⢠You are allowed 4 fix it plates 4x4x1/4
⢠No frame creasing or frame manipulating, sub frame as well. Donât fill in holes, donât crease a frame then add weld.
⢠A simplified wiring harness is permitted. If the car has a wiring harness in front of the core support, you may move it behind the core support. You cannot remove body mount bolt to do this.
⢠DO NOT ALTER / BUILD OR RE-ENFORCE the core support. Absolutely do not reinforce the core support. Core support must remain factory to that vehicle. Can repair pre ran core support but do not be excessive. If itâs junk, please send pics but it will be very minimal on what material you may use to repair it.
⢠No seam welding of any kind on the frame or body
⢠Rust repair we must get detailed pictures and it will be minimal.
⢠No pins or plating the frame or it will be an AUTOMATIC DQ!
⢠You can use front sub frame bolts using 3/4 all thread, go up through the core support.
Bumpers:
⢠Any factory automobile bumper is permitted or bolted together. They must be bolted and welded on in the factory location.
⢠You may collapse the shocks and weld all the way around the shock and to the mounting plate to the bumper and there must be a 1½â gap between the frame and the factory bumper shock plate. The shock must be bolted in the factory location.
⢠If the car did not come with bumper shocks, you cannot add them. You can use 4â x 4â box tubing that is 1/4â thick as a bumper that is no more than 5 feet long with no point. The ends of the bumper must remain open. No metal added to the bumper is permitted.
⢠If the car has no shocks, the bumper may be welded directly to the frame with no metal added. On the back side of the bumper where the shock mounts you may use a 1/4â x 6âx 6â piece of flat metal to create a flat mounting surface. DEC bumpers and Adept Products bumpers are permitted.
⢠The front bumper cannot be any higher than 21â from the bottom of the bumper.
⢠The back bumper cannot be any higher than 14â from the bottom of the bumper.
Suspension / Drivetrain:
⢠Any wheel and tire combo is permitted. Black and round.
⢠The carâs factory springs and shocks are what can be used. No solid suspension. Screw in spring risers are permitted. No wire, chains, or any weld on the rear ends or the rear spring pockets. The car must bounce.
⢠You must use factory rear-end housing! You may weld the spider gears in the rear end to make it posi.
⢠Any gear is permitted. You must run the stock housing and axles for the make and model of the car. Rear end bracing is not permitted.
⢠Cars must be 100% stock! No cross breeding the entire drive line. It must be the same make as the car (Chevy to Chevy, Ford to Ford, etc.)

If your car needs to be removed from the track and you cannot remove it, we will help but any damages due to us removing the vehicle or placing it on the trailer, we are not held responsible for any damages to but not limited to derby car, trailer, or other vehicles that may be towing or in pit area. This is supposed to be a simple set of rules to a basic build!! Do not take advantage and play gray areas!! If itâs not in the rules donât do it!! ALL JUDGES DECISIONS ARE FINAL!!
