First look or ceremony reveal??? This is a question I can see both sides of. It really does comes down to what the couple wants but I can offer insight to either decision. Here are some thoughts:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
First look (the couple seeing each other for the first time pre ceremony) is great for the sake of the reception timeline, especially if cocktail hour immediately follows the ceremony. The couple can complete a majority of their photos prior to the ceremony and have more time to spend with their guests. A con, typically this will mean the time for hair/makeup/getting dressed will be much earlier.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ceremony reveal (the couple seeing each other for the first time at the ceremony) is traditional and can hold a lot of sentimental value for the couple. It can allow for a more relaxed morning or day of but often means that the couple will spend a good chunk of cocktail hour taking photos with family and bridal party.

These photos definitely give a lot of first look vibes but in fact they happened after the ceremony. Emily and Jake decided to see each other for the first time when she walked down the aisle and then post ceremony snuck away for some private couple portraits on the beach. Best of both worlds?

New month, new off season! Radiant Events finished up the final 2023 weddings in October and it is on to planning, designing and refocusing for the 2024 season.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I did take some time to really reflect on my season this past year and how much I thoroughly enjoyed it. Every couple, each wedding event was so unique and special that I am honored to have been a part of all the memories. Not to mention some truly spectacular vendor teams I had the privilege of working along side for these weddings!! (🤗) It was teamwork and the trust of our couples that allowed weddings to go off smoothly, despite unexpected hiccups or poor weather forecasts (the rain!). I am so happy to be able to do what I do and bring together every detail to make each wedding the best day ever for couples, their families and guests alike!!

2023 was a season I will not forget anytime soon but I am also so excited for what 2024 has in store!!

One way to make your first look even more special, sharing personal vows privately with just you and your fiancé. It is a perfect alternative if maybe you are having a traditional ceremony or are a little nervous to speak them in front of all your guests. It is intimate, romantic and adds some really special images to your first look gallery. Personally, I love this very unique and private detail.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

"Worth the wait!" - was definitely the theme of the day for Lauren and Andrew on their July backyard wedding this past summer. Every time we met with Lauren her excitement was tangible as if she had just gotten engaged the day before, you would never imagine they had to wait a whole extra year.

"We hired Caroline and Radiant Events to help us with our wedding and they did an amazing job. We chose to get married on a deck of a restaurant that does not typically host weddings, so we were skeptical on how to coordinate everything.
