As we neared Feb 10th instead of preparing for our advertisements we had to draft this notice.
We entered this year hopeful that with adequate vaccinations and responsible social practices within our county we would safely be able to host a fun day to usher in a turning point in our country. Unfortunately, the rising rate of infection in our parish, along with the non-existent social policy by fellow community leaders, it is within the best interests of our vendors and performers for us to cancel this year's show.
We are so thankful for everyone who showed their support and interest in joining our growing family that is the Magic City Adventure Experience.
Refunds will be issued back to all vendors in the coming week. This decision was a hard and heart wrenching one to make but just as you showed your interest in joining us I would feel remiss of putting you all at risk as our area just is not safe at the current time.
Hopefully we can all come together and have an exceptional event next year in 2022, and I want to thank you all for your support and understanding.

The Magic City Adventure Experience is a pop culture themed outdoor event to be held in March each year at The Cassidy Park in Bogalusa Louisiana. Our next show will be March 6th 2021. We have reserved the entire facility along with it's 2 stages and multiple pavilions for an amazing day of art, collectibles, live performances, fun, and great food. Each booth will have access to power and limited camp sites are available as well. Specialty performer booths are available to troops or individuals interested in doing live performances and are available for a limited time by request via email to [email protected]
The Magic City Adventure Experience is a production created and organized by our friends at McNabb Games, and MGR publishing to serve as a central hub for all surrounding communities to come share their passion. Display your wares, Showcase your talents, and most of all have fun while networking and making new friends.
REGISTRATION
Vendor booths are 20'x20' and cost $30 per reservation.
Artist/Craft Booths are 20'x20' and cost $30 to reserve.
Food Vendor locations are 20'x40' and cost $25 to reserve.
Live performer booths are free of charge with the commitment of a 30 minute set on the main stage and can be used for promotion and vending of merchandise etc.( These are severely limited so act quickly by contacting us with your request)
We will have an early load in time Friday night from 7PM-9PM and an final load out Sunday morning by 1:00PM to give everyone ample time to pack up after the event.
Booth registration is open this year until January 3rd and available at the following link: magiccityadventure.com make sure to register your spots as these will go fast.
Ideally all vendors should be registered no later than January 10th as we would like to advertise and showcase all of our participants throughout the month of February in our advertisements etc.

Retro comics specializes in pre-1995 comics. Ranging from Golden Age to Modern age comics. We have something for everyone whether you want something high grade or lower grade reader comics. We even put a few lower grade keys in the bargin bin box. If your after that first issue of a series I offer an entire box of only #1's. Everything we sell is collector grade and is bagged and boarded with new acid free resealable bags and boards, even in our dollar bins. You wont find 10 for $1 comics in old bags with missing covers and coffee stains at retro comics. We also offer multi book discounts on backstock comics and will entertain offers on all wall comics. This year we will be partnered with Graves Goodies.

PERFORMER SPOTLIGHT - DAT ASHE COSPLAY

A professional performer for over four years, Dat Ashe has performed across Texas and is branching out into out-of-state events while spreading awareness of LGBTQ+ performers as well as bringing visibility to the transgender individuals in the cosplay community. He is a flow artist, aerialist, is dabbling in sideshow performance, dancer, artist, and a cosplayer. He absolutely loves to share his craft so feel free to ask questions and have fun learning new things!

ARTIST SHOWCASE: DEATH BY COSPLAY

Death By Cosplay is an award-winning cosplay group based in Lafayette, Louisiana. They are a four person team of cosplayers specializing in sewing, prop making, crafting, wig styling, armor building, and special-effects make up. They are best known for their Final Fantasy VII group cosplay which was awarded best group at MechaCon anime convention in New Orleans. For years, they have traveled across the south to conventions and cosplay events! Like all cosplayers, they’ve had their share of cuts, bruises, finger pricks, and glitter in their eyes.
