Making and adding the gold details on Caitlyn’s cape 💛 We got some beautiful gold vinyl and added rub n buff to accentuate it a bit. We had to glue the vinyl on because we had already sewn in the lining but it definitely should have been put on before the lining, that way we could have top stitched it on 🪡 BTW the pattern + tutorial for this cape will be available in our store soon! We can’t wait to release it 🤩

Introducing one of our upcoming pattern releases! 🫡 The moment we saw Caitlyn step into her role as commander, complete with that stunning cape, we knew we 𝙝𝙖𝙙 to recreate it. It was simply too cool to pass up! 🔥

Making these pants has been so much fun 💜🩷 We wanted to keep the process as simple as possible so we just decided to go with paint! We also used some gold rub n’ buff instead of HTV. The look is a little more rugged which is defs what we want 😏

Making Jinx’s neck straps was an interesting process 🤔 We started with the classic plastic wrap and tape method to get the exact shape of Julie’s neck and drew in some rough lines. We then transferred the tape pattern to paper and drew in the design to create our official pattern! We ‘heat n bonded’ two pieces of pleather together and cut our neck piece out ☺️

The fabric for this cloak is just 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻 We used our Outrider Cloak sewing pattern to make our scout regiment cloaks that we wore to Quebec City comic-con ⚔️ This was a super last minute project cuz we wanted to just go as normies to the con but then we thought no no we must wear SOMETHING so this was the perfect mini costume 🥰 Maybe one day we will make the whole outfit 🤔
