Hello! More exciting news! We setup a bank account for the Ukrainian family at Ukrainian Self Reliance Credit Union and go fund me donations are posted... thank you!
The family rode the train today to Moldova reading books to pass the time. See photo.
Beth and I set up the apartment with necessities. The boys were excited to see the apartment picture with a ball and scooter. They didn’t have enough room in their suit cases for toys and a ball.
We are excited to welcome the family Friday May 12 when they land in Chicago. Thanks again for your generosity and kindness. Please continue to share the go fund me link as we collect donations for apartment rent and utilities. Stay tuned for further journey updates......

The Ukrainian family is very excited to be coming to Michigan this week. The boys age 6 and 12 have been watching videos about Michigan. The family will travel by train Tuesday to Moldova where they will board a plane on Friday bound for Istanbul then Chicago. The family will arrive in Chicago Friday May 12 after a long journey. Nick will meet the family at the airport and travel with them to their new home in Warren. Thank you to all those who donated and helped support this miraculous life change and offer of hope to this Ukrainian family.
