Project for the People RDPC would like to thank everyone for supporting us, whether it was virtually, or in person and we appreciate all the positive feedback and hope we have encouraged others to do the same.

Project for the People had given out some awards to Tracy Boxell, Hilda Anderson-Pyrz, and Liz Lychuck, this award given to these wonderful people due to their great work and help in this community.

Project for the People had also decided to do one last donation to Northern Spirit Manor to wrap up our magnificent semester of various donations, our successful two day drive-thru public feast and our charity work in town.

Thank you for everything Thompson, we wish you good luck for the future!
Sincerely,
Project for the people RDPC

RDPC’s Project for the People would like to present a drive-thru public feast food giveaway. We would like to give back to the community by hosting a drive-thru public feast event, which will take place in the front loop of R.D. Parker Collegiate. Please come down to RDPC on June 2nd of 2021 at 4:30 P.M. and attend our drive-thru public feast food giveaway. We will have 150 meals, which will be properly packed and ready to giveaway.

Project for the People is a high school group, which includes a teacher and students enrolled in a grade 12 “CURRENT TOPICS IN FIRST NATION, METIS, AND INUIT STUDIES 40S” class. As a class we had applied for a grant from the R.B.C. bank, who had provided us fifteen-thousand-dollar grant for our class to visualise and utilize the money to give back into our community.

Deliveries will be made to go meals to the Thompson Homeless Shelter, Thompson Crisis Centre, N.C.N Housing Centre and M.Y.S. (Macdonald Youth Services) on June 1st of 2021.

Feel free to share, like and comment on our post. Thank you and we hope to see you in the front loop!

We can guarantee next week we can continue to do what we’re doing, so please just give us a little bit more time, we’re all in this together. ✊
