Announcing something new and fun emerging from the La Tulipe studio...FLOWER CHARCUTERIE!

While this may appear to be a fun little exercise we've designed with leftover blooms, it is quite a bit more. This motif will be carried through installation projects, home decor products and event tabletops. For starters.

You'll see some examples rolling out in the next couple of weeks. Don't touch that dial!

A little Easter treat for those celebrating today. This was my morning meditation/gift to myself. Carving out time to make this a daily practice. It brought some peace and calm and beauty - hoping that is your experience as well. Wouldn't it be nice to offer this as a component of a spa package? I think it would be fabulous. 🙏🌸

Posts here have been a little sparse lately because I've been in planning/overhaul mode for the year ahead and more into the future. April is our anniversary month (21 years!) so it's a good time to share that new directions and offerings are on the horizon. If you're a Superfriend/A-list client, fear not. Not much changing in what we've been providing you. But so much more being added to the repertoire! Getting closer to rolling out some products that can reach a wider audience - anywhere we can ship! - and more local/regional services to feed the creative beast.

I'm thrilled to be sharing most of these dangling carrots in April. Lots of fun flower projects, events and collaborations all happening just when our local flowers will begin popping. We'll be swimming in flowers here and I cannot wait!!

This Valentine's Day, we are partnering with the Milwaukee Chapter of the American Heart Association to donate 10% of all sales of our online VALENTINE'S DAY COLLECTION" today through February 13 (the last day to order flowers). We are intentional when we seek out non-profit partners for our promotions. Both of my parents are stroke survivors - my dad in his 40's and my mother 3 years ago - so this mission is important to our family. Please keep real, human hearts in mind this Valentine's Day as you make purchases for your sweethearts. Merci.

Spent a lovely day in Madison yesterday - best Farmer’s Market ever - with Brooklyn daughter and her boyfriend. Beautiful way to wrap up a long visit that this mama needed. In the past month, we’ve enjoyed Mother’s Day, learned of my father’s grave cancer diagnosis and celebrated my middle daughter’s high school graduation. Flowering through all of it. I don’t often share overly personal things, but as we experience increasingly inhibiting algorithms that reward us for presenting beautiful veneers, it is important to add depth. We are human beings sharing these pretty pictures. Highs and lows are part of our human experience. And there are flowers for all of these times. ❤️

What have I got to be so happy about on a blustery day in April? And why am I holding 20 beautiful tulips?
I’ve been a little quiet about it, but this month marks
La Tulipe’s 20th anniversary! 🎉🎉
You’re hearing about this in the middle of the month because I decided to celebrate the occasion by
1. taking my best vacation in 20 years. Figured I was due.
2. Hopping off the plane and back onto the workbench
3. Finalizing the gratitude project
4. Polishing the plan for the future.

Big fun at the end of the week, but until then, I’ll be sharing some thoughts on this 20 year experience. Please join me, I promise - as always - to Fill Your Day With Flowers!
