Surgery Update:

As far as I can tell things couldn't have gone better. I will be staying overnight just for monitoring because the gall bladder looked pretty bad I guess.

I feel 💯 % better. Thanks far all the prayers.

So far the staff has been incredible.

First night at the new summer venue, I will be there tonight running the event and showing some other folks how to do it in the future. Starting out with just the 4 game switch into a double elimination to begin with. They may add Knockout, 4 bagger, Airmail in the future but want to keep it simple to begin with.

I haven't laid eyes on the new venue myself but I've been told it is a very nice pole barn with enough space to set up at least 5 sets of boards.

Would love to have a nice size crowd tonight for our new host.

Good morning folks, got some exciting news for you.

Bridget Swift and a few others have decided to continue running Wednesday nights at a new location through summer. The new location is a private party's pole barn.

Events will all be set up under Flat River Co****le in Scoreholio. I will run at least the first one for them,

Initially it will only be a 4 game switch into a double elimination tournament. No Knockout, 4 bagger, or air mail. As Bridget and those who help get more familiar with running the tournament they may start adding some of those back into the event.

$20 per person - $15 entry & $5 facility fee, 80% payout

Wednesday Feb 28th, 2024 Results.

As always great night with great folks. Last night was our final night at the VFW for a while. I need a little break, been a great 2 1/2 year run at the VFW. I can't thank all of the folks that came out to support FRC over this period. Made a lot of new friends that are now family.

I will be shifting over to running a weekly tourney at my seasonal campground for the summer May-Sept, Irons Campground and RV Resort in Irons, MI. So if your in the area on a Thursday stop in and see me.

At this point I'm not sure what next fall will bring but I'll figure something out to bring weekly co****le back to Lowell. It was a hard decision because of our group, I love our group and knew I would feel like I was letting everyone down. All over co****le, who would of ever thunk it. I will miss seeing everyone weekly.

Results from the Lowell HS Senior Overnight Fundraiser.

First of all want to thank all the players and folks that attended. Without you there wouldn't be any fundraiser. I seriously am very appreciative that you spend your time with us. There are so many things and other options going on in life. I don't take it for granted you came to spend your time and money with us.

Second of all thank you to all the sponsors that make events like this possible and worthy.

Changed the format up:
Friday night will have an upper and lower blind draw with rounders for seeeding.
Saturday will be Doubles and Singles.
Sunday will be a 4 game switch into a Double Elimination tourney.

Game day, get signed up and come on out.

Knockout starts at 6:30p sharp.

Airmail starts at $1,580 tonight.
1 - You must have been present at one of the previous 4 weekly events to be eligible for 100% of the airmail pot. If not it will be 50% of the bag value. If your not sure if you've been there in the past 4 weeks or not, please ask before buying tickets and I will let you know.
2 - New players to FRC are eligible for 100% but can only purchase $20 in airmail tickets their first night.
3 - You must participate in the Switch to be eligible for Airmail.
4 - If we go over $4k I will start giving money to tickets drawn that don't make a bag. (1st ticket - $200, 2nd ticket - $150, 3rd ticket - $100, 4th ticket - $50) - Rule #1 applies to this also.
