Great film done by American Whiskey magazine about Ironroot Republic

To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we partnered with American Whiskey Magazine to create a short documentary about our distillery's first ten years. The film is an inside look at how we’ve grown over the past decade, as well as a glimpse into our next ten years.

In 2014, we didn’t think we'd be celebrating this milestone, especially with a film release of all things. We couldn’t have made it this far without the love from all of our loyal supporters, friends, and family. Thank y’all for allowing us to do what we love! ❤️

I know it’s been a minute since sent me this Wheated Bottled-in-Bond, but there’s been a lot going on. 😁 Anyway, I am thrilled to have received it and am sampling it out to share with my fellow . Last summer a group of us went to Bluegrass and selected a fantastic Toasted Bourbon barrel at their Lexington location. Since then they have moved out to their Elwood Farm location, which I am hoping to visit next week when in Kentucky! There are so many great expressions coming from Bluegrass and I am here for them all. This one gives me all those dark burnt sugar notes I love in bourbon, along with toffee and butterscotch and just a hint of smoke on the finish. Thank you , I will be visiting soon!

What a great turnout at our first Whiskey Wednesday Happy Hour at Our focus this month, and how we are handling aging whiskey in Texas. We began with a cocktail hour where guests chose between an Old Fashioned made with Ironroot Harbinger 115 or a Manhattan prepared with Ironroot Promethean, plus some amazing snacks. Next it was time for some Bourbon Communion as we learned all about Ironroot Republic Distillery as we sampled some of their amazing whiskeys. Thank you and the amazing staff and to everyone that made it out. (It was a sold out event!) If you missed the event, you really did miss out on a fun time, but don’t worry, we have more of these coming!
