🌟 2024 ROUNDUP 🌟
This year, we had 23 artists over 5 events, bringing our total to 90 different artists showcased over the last 3 years. Less shows/artists than previous years - It's been a challenge, but the same story for many independent platforms that run live shows. As always, a huge thank you to everyone who bought a ticket & the artists who've played with us - the support is always so appreciated. I'm so excited that next year I already have a calendar of events on the go, rather than working on a show by show basis, thanks to funding from PRSf and other partnerships - we'll also be doing our first shows out of London!!

Since I started this platform, this is the first year that I have seen tangible change & visibility for our community within the music scene globally. There has been growth every year, don't get me wrong but this year in particular, so many more new platforms have popped up for supporting both music and wider creativity from the Asian family. This is great to see & I hope that this will drive wider collaboration as we keep on moving up & building the scene(s). There have been more investments and structures started/announced within key industry businesses, more inclusion on festival line ups, increased radio plays/syncs, award wins, artists doing major headline tours (and selling out) and much more. The data for most everywhere shows the rise of Asian-led music around the world & the importance of Asian markets for the West. Super great that this trend is across regions, languages & genres rather than a singular.
Next year, I'll try harder to document all new wins. Until then, other than 1 announcement - signing off for the rest of the year - wishing you a restful & fun Christmas/holiday period 🫶🏽✨️
