We were truly humbled when we received this message sent to us sent by Denise.
The power of the music and the dancefloor can never be underestimated.

“Hey there guys just to say a massive thank u to u both, sumtimes u make a difference in ppls life that uz don't no bout. 2 & half yrs ago my sister catrina got diagnosed wif an incurable lung cancer that had spread to the head, after a couple of chemo sessions and a bit of radio she got a clear scan last Aug, wanting to celebrate at a rooftop bar coz it was roasting that wk I told her bout ur electric dreams and we secured the last couple of tckts, halfway thru the night I came bak from the toilet only to c my sister dancing away, this made my year as she hadn't bn interested in dancing for a few yrs,she enjoyed it that much we stayed both nites at nyr and had a ball! She came wif me to Easter one even tho we just got bak from tenerife few hrs b4 and also went to bank holiday may 1. Sadly and suddenly catrina passed away in my arms 22nd nov after a chemo session that was just too much for her body to take. Xmas will be s**t this yr but anytime I'm feeling overwhelmed I'm just gonna think bak to last nyr and remember how much of a party we had wif uz in the radison, for this I am eternally grateful for 👌, keep bn Uz, the world's a beta place wif uz doin ur thing 💃, Denise.”

Last Christmas, 2035 kids in Glasgow were going to wake up to nothing on Christmas morning until Audrey Dempsey from Glasgows no.1 Baby & Family Support Service"scio" stepped in. But she couldn’t help another 100 which broke her heart. And ours. So we have teamed up with Audrey to back her campaign Give A Kid A Christmas.

She gives each child a solo toy, a family toy, a learning toy, a creative toy and a trending toy for just £25 PER PACK - £5 per toy.

For £5 you can buy a child a present so they have something on Christmas morning.

For £15, you get them a warm coat – because their home may have no heating.
For £25, you can buy a full five-present pack to make Christmas for a child.
And for £40, you take care of Christmas totally for one child – their gifts and their coat.

This isn’t about us – we’re just spreading the word for Audrey and hope you will do the same.

After one of our best nights ever we look forward to our next one.

NYD has turned into pretty special over the years and is the ultimate GP gathering at Radisson RED Glasgow
